That's the other side of the coin.

We probably shouldn't rule out the possibility that WB holds back some or all of their bigger CE-caliber titles for a possible UHD upgrades.

There is an Italian Blu-ray, so we know there's an HD master. I've had it in the cart once or twice while shopping imports, but have yet to pull the trigger. If Arrow or Warner don't release Communion in a couple months, I'll most likely import the Italian off AmazonIT.

I would add the Horror of Dracula and Curse of Frankenstein if Scream were able to get them, but I suspect Warner will release those themselves. Critters would be a candidate but I expect a box set of all 4. Judgment Night would also be a candidate if it's not given the Shout Select treatment.

With Michael Felsher of Red Shirt Pictures and Scream Factory themselves confirming they have some big titles coming this year, you cant help but think that well be seeing alot of double dipping of major Warner titles along with this new deal.

I double dip easily but only under the condition it includes both seasons of freddy's nightmares. I watch that series so infrequently that the current set works just fine for me.

Thats a highly requested title, has never come out on any format apart from VHS. Would love an upgrade. I'm curious too.

I bet it's those titles i mentioned even Hitcher to Critters movies to Dr Giggles in CEs plus maybe Beetlejuice in a CE with 2K or 4K remastering with extras abound even commentary for the 30th anniversary, Michael Felsher if your hearing this do this since Beetlejuice has turned 30 and give it a halloween or thanksgiving release.

I'm also willing to bet at the comic con in San Diego they might announce Child's Play 2 and 3 CEs with Tremors CE.

The Thirteen Ghosts remake is also with Warner - I could see them releasing this one. Personally, I enjoyed it and it's been OOP for a while now I believe?

I picked up the region free UK version because I didnt want House of Wax with it which was the only way to get it in the US. It has good special features with a little bio of each ghost. Good flick.

I didn't much care to own House of wax either, but the two films were housed on their own discs and thanks to some excellent cover artists here on site I was able to print separate covers so in the end it worked out.

I do feel that a collectors edition of this film and Dr. Giggles are almost certainly a sure thing.

With Geoff Murphy's the Quiet Earth coming from Arrow, I wonder if SF has any interest in Freejack, which they supposedly have rights to through Morgan Creek.
