Vudu has digital copy redemption links for both films.

That's because both of them are Instawatch through walmart. Same can be said for the Indiana Jones movies, The African Queen, The Foreigner, Bad Moms Christmas, etc. The last two are also STX and were no code and then itunes only.

The other problem with Vudu having redemption links, is that actually there are quite a few movies with a redemption "link" in Vudu, but no code exists. Not sure what the story is there, but probably they just get sloppy when designing their internet pages.

Correct. They are owned by STX Entertainment, and their titles aren't MA eligible. Your only hope to getting these titles on Vudu, without just buying them, is that Walmart offers InstaWatch.

I actually prefer this as an iTunes user, because there is no 4K release, which means a standard Universal "Movies Anywhere" code would not give me 4K in iTunes, but an iTunes only redemption sure will!
