Taking a break from packing totes. Almost feel like having The Mrs pack up the stuff. She's got a better handle on how to maximize them. Anyway, debating on if I'm having some more chili cheese Fritos before I get back to it. Still kicking around the idea of shutting it down early. Missed the opportunity to watch a movie. So listening to Pandora while I separate the collectibles and will see how I feel once I do.

perusing the archives on the site I hear this most incredible clap of thunder, with such a sonic crack I've never heard before.

Just called out of work since my daughter woke up at 2AM with a 107 *(and climbing!) fever. Pushing liquids and tylenol, trying to reduce it. God I hope its not the flu.

A little bit. Thanks. Fever's down a bit, she's still feeling weak. Refusing to eat but at least she's staying hydrated!

Right now, having another cup of coffee and doing yet ANOTHER load of laundry since the kid got sick again after I changed out her linens. Its pretty sad when I actually WISH I was at work

That's a take your kid to the ER temperature, hope it's turns out to be not too serous and she gets through it alright.

I was really close to taking her this morning, but fortunately the fever went down rather quickly. She's feeling a little better now but still tired and lacks an appetite.

O/T: I just put her to bed, thinking about going out for some Chinese take-out for my Lady & I.

Stupid house is having some power issues. I’m hoping it’s a matter of new fuses but I’m not sure. Can’t do anything until tomorrow once hardware store reopens.

power outages is why i have a flashlight in every room of the house. as well as have candles and lighters/matches in the kitchen and downstairs.
