Question Red Box Deals?

Looks like those RedBox rental machines in the grocery stores are renting out BD for the same price as SD's ($1).
You can also buy used SD's for $7 once the movie has been out for a few weeks... maybe BD's will be the same?

sure.. go to the store for my week-end fix... 5 for $5
then I get stuck with $200 in junk food !!!

Blu-ray is safer by mail

I didn't see blu-rays at my red-box (seem to contradict itself...huh)

It's a pretty new one though.

This is a good idea. This will be the end of DVD when BD's equals the price.

Denver was the first city with Redbox. Most McDonald's have them there. They've probably started putting them in the grocery stores as well.

If you are talking about Blu-ray, from what I've seen they are only at select Wal-mart stores. You'll just have to go to one and see if there are BD titles. I haven't found a search yet. It is still a test for them so if rentals are high they'll surely expand to all of the Redbox machines.

Here's the search for redbox kiosks in your area.

If you buy a movie from Red Box (not just rent it) do you somehow end up getting a case and/or sleeve? Or do you get just the disc?
