It has nothing to do with Star Wars. I think he's just blowing off nerd steam.

Red Skull is the best MCU villain, it's a crime he hasn't come back and he should have been pulling the string in Civil War while still leaving him around for future films.

this for god sake!!!
Who cares about Baron really.

It comes off as just an attempt to make "Age of Ultron" abit more relevant post that movie.

we didnt even get his actual costume either.
Should of totally and completely been Red Skull and done in a way where they kept the identity of the villain hidden until towards the end in a twist.
(instead of that silly twist where all the other super soliders have been killed and he actually has no interest in unleashing them)

I agree, RS and Loki have been the two best villains of the MCU.

I'm not quite sure what Weaving was doing when he signed on multi-picture deal. Was CA:TFA so bad of an experience that's why he's said he was done? He had to have expected to be in more than 1 movie, right?

Couldn't really care less for Loki, but if he dies in Infinity War in a noble act of sacrifice, I'd probably rank him high up like most people do.

I personally think the Winter Soldier is the best villain/anti-hero of the MCU. I can really sympathize with what Bucky went through with Hydra, plus he's just one man trying to redeem himself after what he did. He's not planning on some grand scheme to take over a country try or gain great power.

Glad to see another sensible person and here's how I would have done Civil War. Cut Zemo out because he's a zero charisma non-entity. Someone is pitting the team against each other and at the end Stark, Steve and Bucky have been lured to that secret underground base with Black Panther tailing them.

Once there and in the main lab, a voice comes over the speakers and Steve recognizes that it's Red Skull who mocks him. RS taunts them before showing video footage of Bucky killing Starks parents. RS says goodbye and shuts his feed off before Tony loses it and tries to kill Bucky. In the end it's Black Panther who saves Cap and Bucky from Stark after he hears RS's admission that it was he who killed BP's father. No super soldiers or any of that crapola which was just a ruse to get them there.

Black Panther takes Cap/Bucky to Wakanda, Stark wallows in anger and self pity. The post credit scene follows...

In a darkened room you can see a computer screen with Cap, Bucky and Stark looking up while Red Skull says goodbye before shutting off the feed. There's a knock at the door, the lights come on and someone enters the room who says "General Ross is here to see you, Mr. President...."

The end.

Because setting the Avengers against each other while tearing apart the Unites States of America from within is exactly the type of thing that Red Skull would do after he realizes that they can't be beat if they're united and ties into what Hydra was doing in Winter Soldier. Now you've established RS as President and you could also have it that he's in league with the Skrulls, one of whom is posing as General Ross, BANG, Secret Wars which sets up Phase 4 etc.

In Age of Ultron, Hulk was in the jet and flew to outer space. Then we see in Thor Ragnarok that he was able to fly the jet all the way to Jeff Goldblum.

Yet in Age of Ultron, Nick Fury shows a crash and presumes it to be the Hulk that has crashed and is probably running around Fiji.

So if Hulk and the jet are both in space, what crashed?

Please be Red Skull.

woah!

I have to sort out going early then. I was sure it was end of the month.
So cool.

Although my daughters birthday is the 10th so I might need to wait a few extra days after the 11th before I can. Maybe even a week but still. Much earlier than I expected

Well, looks like the idea of a worldwide release week meant nothing, they just moved it up everywhere.

And even with the fan screenings already, I guess the theory that the film had such big spoilers that they wanted everyone to get it around the same time to avoid leaks is clearly false.

Theaters do input that information themselves. It could be an error.

That's not for all cinemas. It's only for Vue Cinemas on that date.

It's definitely an error on their part then.

That seems generic, not pandering to what people think fans want to hear, so it's plausible.

It also supports the older rumor of
[Show spoiler] Hulk being cast back to Earth by Thanos to warn everyone.
