I would have never guessed it be her, makes sense though after the preview has Negan talking to Dwight.

I know people have been debating for a while but this episode cemented Rick is worse than Negan.

and why does everything with the Heapsters have to be so bizare. In the words of Negan "what the shit?" was that.

Well he really lost in mind when his son died. Spent months killing everything and everyone he could find. Got "clean" when he met the guy that taught him that zen stuff. He broke again when that Kingdom kid got killed and now is pretty close to back to full mental break kill everything and anyone.

I wonder how they'll go about bringing Morgan into Fear? He's absolutely losing his mind. If they do a time skip in Fear maybe he'll learn to control himself again.

I agree 1000%. I am really starting to hate Rick, I feel no sympathy for him. It's really sad that there are at least three supposedly good guys on this show that I just want to get killed asap, because they don't seem to have a single redeeming quality anymore.

I feel the same way with Rick. I loved Rick's character and he was one of my favorite things about the show until he met Negan. He has become unrecognizable.

So when will this show end? Don't they want it to go on for a long, LONG time? A few posts above, I read that they said they're aiming for a more Season 5 vibe for next season? That'd be good. I ducked out around the middle of said season. It seems like the people who chose to stick around are currently showing series fatigue...

All I know is AMC wants The Walking Dead to go on for 50 years. But if we're going off what producers and actors have said in past interviews, there's really 4 more seasons left of the show until it's over.

This is what dramas do. Characters have highs and lows. We've had leader Rick, psychotic Rick, non-leader Rick, devastated Rick, etc., and now bloody Rick. For Carl's plea to have meaning Rick needs to change at an extreme point which is occurring now. The only question is if his actions are so cruel that he loses the audience even after his "redemption."

It may seem like Rick is shitting on Carl's legacy by going against every word his son told him. Perhaps that's Rick's way of dealing with Carl's death? Going into a murderous rage. The same happened after Lori's death. Rick descended into darkness. Maybe now, after reading Carl's letter to him, Rick will come to the realization his "mercy prevails over his wrath."

Overall, I thought this was another good episode. As for Rick, I can totally see where the writers are going with this. He's upset about Carl's death and hasn't really come to terms with it and as a result, he took out his anger on the saviors who escaped. But let's also be honest about one thing here...I think a lot of the audience wanted to see Rick's group completely wipe out the saviors not too long ago. Some didn't even understand why Jesus took the saviors hostage in the first place instead of just killing them. Now you have members of the audience questioning Rick's decision to kill those saviors. That's going to pave the way for more of an understanding when it comes to why Rick won't kill Negan in the future. I think the writers have actually done a good job this season when it comes to the whole kill or not kill dilemma.
