Licensing can be complex. Take a look at the US release of Pit Stop.

Do you consider the Arrow version a bootleg since it was unauthorized by Roger Corman?

After reading about the incomplete nature of the film and the shady/shifty sales practices of DF on this one I'm happy I gave it a pass. I'm more than content to wait for a more complete release of the THTV from a company that doesn't engage in price gouging tactics and then expects customers to thank them and/or be grateful for the privilege of overpaying for an inferior product.

On Mazon.ca I bought one yesterday for $24.99 CDN and it now says Back in stock April 3rd. So they seem to be getting more.

You can check here as well - both BD and DVD. It may be a bit more helpful for DVDs than this site. "Discontinued" means OOP. "Out", in most cases, means it's between pressings currently. It is generally pretty accurate.

Those AB/Starz releases are mostly oop now. Some of them are still available to d2d on Vudu but are tough to find for good prices on blu. And on that note, the blu catalog of those 80s to early 00s titles is pretty hit or miss with some looking like upscales or passable HD. Also, many of the dvd versions had extras that were not ported over to blu.
