The Golden Compass on Blu-ray (PIP) April 29th 2008

While this may have been a disappointing adaptation of one of my favorite books, this blu-ray is undeniably excellent. The video, audio, and the extras alone make this worth a purchase.

That and the gorgeous slipcover.

I can't wait to see how that goes

Such wasted potential with this movie, and a wasted cast of talented people.

When my Daughter was young, we really enjoyed this movie. The blu ray audio/video mastering is outstanding. I'm praying this gets a UHD release with ATMOS or DTS:X audio upgrade.

Still one of the best slip covers I've ever seen on the original release. I liked the movie well enough to also buy the steelbook.
