I noticed something very odd as well: playing the 2d disc and having the machine convert it into 3d was a better 3d experience than just playing the 3d disc itself. Bottom line, this thing is a MESS, especially with the audio problem, which wasn't solved even when being plugged directly into the tv. Sadly, Edison 3d is a failure. Sorry to disappoint you, my friends. The search for 3d goes on. LOL.
