Well, there are a few interesting movies from FOX:

Taken
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian
Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

But somehow I expected more...

kristen kreuk is gorgeous but she's five sizes to small to be chun-li. I won't even start on dragon ball...

Anyone can be "on top" of all developments and news in the biz if one actually checks the trades (i.e. Variety and The Hollywood Reporter) and entertainment-inclined sites on a regular basis.

Oh OK. As I was reading through the list I was thinking that FOX releases for 2009 seemed weak overall, especially when compared to the other studios. Hopefully FOX will release more films this year.

cool. It'll be interesting because I don't know of any auteurs who've gone from live-action to animation before. Should be interesting... I mean, no location shooting... it seems like a totally different process. I wonder if he'll be any good at it. "Alvin and The Chipmunks 2, The Squeakuel" SQUEAKWUEL??!! LOL

I was never a fan of the show or movie, so it certainly isn't on my list to see, but I have to laugh at the play on sequel . It is so cheesy to me, but funny and fitting too.

OK, onto what I would like to see for sure:

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian

Maybe:
Taken, Avatar, All About Steve

All others: no interest at this point.

After seeing this list I think Fox really does deserve a boycott. I will probably see Wolverine but after X3 my expectations couldn't be lower.

Fantastic Mr. Fox was originally supposed to come out after "The Life Aquatic" because Wes Anderson was convinced no studio would give him money to make another huge, bloated film, but fox stepped up to the plate and produced the worst Wes Anderson movie to date, which is sad considering he is one of my favorite directors.

I think it's supposed to be claymation??? Henry Selick might be involved??

From the commercials Taken looks like a damn good movie. May have to go check this one out at the theater.

looking forward to wolverine and avatar but TAKEN is such a great movie hopefully all will go support it you wont be disappointed, also saw it get a preview on 24 tonight.
