I expect this would be same (as should
be Black Panther to follow suit) so same aspect ratio as we get in IMAX screens.

2D discs always stay cropped sadly,

Even airport fight in Civil War was shot using IMAX cameras but had the same stretched aspect ratio in 3D and normal 2D.

Stretched?

The 3D disc I have opens up exactly like the IMAX theatrical screenings. 2D stays cropped all through.

Not sure why the UK version would not be stretched and yours(america/oz?) would be.

Not sure if cropped or stretched would annoy me more. Just leave films opened up in full screen I say

I don't go to movies much anymore and I'm getting kind of bored with super hero movies but I'm definitely going to see this one.

Has there been any confirmation from someone actually involved with the production like Opaloch or the Russos (and not imdb) as to how this was shot?

Whole article and interview here where they talk about their experience and reason for using IMAX ARRI 65 which they also used on Civil War's airport battle: https://screenrant.com/avengers-infi...irectors-imax/

How are you all expecting the CGI to be on this? After certain shots in Ragnarok and about half of Black Panther's CGI I am kind of slightly worried, not gonna lie. I hope this looks top notch but have my doubts after the last 2 films.
