Ah yes, I do remember Chips, but I can't honestly recall the other two mate - my old memory cells are fading a little.

How about those decent little thrillers like Tales Of The Unexpected, and one of my favourites, Armchair Thriller?

I loved that theme music used for Tales, and as for Armchair Thriller - what an opening sequence that had - a shadow approaching and sitting on an armchair with that creepy music playing. Brilliant!



And the thing is amazingly this was shown before the 9 pm watershed, I'm almost certain of that, and even this trailer set the tone beautifully (quality is a bit ropey but you may recall it):
