How many people did Thanos killed with the snap of his fingers again in the movie? I forgot. Because if half of the population on earth is wiped out, while the Netflix shows continue on as if nothing happened, then that's a major continuity problem.

Half. It's always half. Even on the main poster, 12 died, 12 lived. Perfectly balanced.

I watched the ending on Reddit....it's half. Probably explains why Hawkeye comes out of retirement, half of his family dies.

The Netflix shows are still in like 2014, lol. They haven't even gotten to the sokovia accords yet.

I'm so f***ing confused now. Even if the Netflix shows take place in 2014, I don't exactly know what year each MCU movie take place in? Thanks, Spider-Man.

I can't remember the exact episode but jessica jones season 2 takes place in may 2017. In the early episode you can see the date on the computer jessica or trish uses

Does this really affect your ability to watch and enjoy the movies. Do you sit awake at night stresses over this?

Ah, I dumped the shows after defenders so I didn't bother with JJ.

Wouldn't it be a bigger issue with Agents of SHIELD (which granted I stopped watching after the second season, but before would reference films which had just come out weeks before)? From what I've read, sounds like it has a decent chance at a season 6 renewal, and while they could easily just suggest most of the cast was on the lucky side, they would probably have to erase a major cast member or two until Avengers 4 takes place.

Really seemed to me to be set up for multiverse craziness in Avengers 4.
Perfect.

When Peter starts fading away and he panics all like "Mr. Stark, I'm not feeling too good, help me, I don't want to go, please, I don't want to go", I almost teared up.

Goddamn it, Spidey stole the show in every scene he's in for me.

But can you imagine how heartbroken Miek would be if he sees Korg wither away into ashes?

How is that any different then resetting the timeline over and over like he did in his film?

Hopefully it makes more sense when I see it in a couple of hours.

Infinity War is like Game of Thrones.... You can't help but love and be frustrated with it at the same time.

So... what does Infinity War mean for Ant-Man and His Tiny Girlfriend With Wings? Would that mean it takes place before IW?

It technically goes both ways? Or so the rumors go. The house arrest is after CW, but the Quantum Realm has a time jump and Sebastian Stan confirmed he was w/Michelle Pfeiffer on the IW set and elsewhere, so maybe the *snap* took them there? Or that's how they get back?

Gah.

So maybe when Thanos snapped his finger they may have gone to the quantum realm?

I was on reddit and an interesting theory came up.

After the *snap* Thanos is clearly in pain, his arm is absolutely messed up. It took a lot out of him to do what he did. It would take more than one Avenger to undo everything, costing them their lives.

Kinda like how Quill could somewhat wield a stone because he was half-a-god (at the time, probably still is but that's irrelevant cause he's ash) it would take the original's to hold onto the Gauntlet and reverse things?

The more I think about the ending, it isn't really a cop out. Tony isn't sitting in mourning, he's in thought and angered by what he just witnessed. He has to fix this, he blames himself for it. The ending isn't about knowing the others return, but what it did to those who lived.
