Always amazed at the amount of talent in the thread. Love your retro stuff stardragon9, but work on how you are spacing out the back cover a bit to even it out a bit more. I realize you are probably using an old VHS or Laserdisc for a source, but it throws off the balance of a beautiful job.

Yes I am using the old vhs cases as templates. In fact, that was one of the main reasons I started creating custom covers; I wanted to recreate the old vhs style.

I make my custom covers to fit in the 14mm Scanavo cases. AKA Criterion cases. I love old-school VHS style covers and gave this great cult classic a go. Hope you like.

I also made an alternate front cover a few days ago:

Here are a couple more VHS inspired covers. I modified the CBS Fox template I had created and I think it works a little better (or at least uses a little more of the blank space I had earlier).

Just wanted to let everyone know the news!

The new blog is nearly finished, and it's looking so much better than the previous version. While I put the finishing touches onto the new site, I hope you all can be patient with the transition as I will be closing down the old site as of today.

But don't worry, you will all be able to access the new site, once it's live, with no need for a password any longer.

As an extra special treat, when the site goes live, not only will all previously uploaded covers be readily available, but a brand new set of revised covers for Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be replacing ALL of the old Phase One covers.

I would have loved to have both Phase One and Two's revised covers ready for the new site launch, but Phase Two has much more work to be done than Phase One did, so I certainly apologize for the long wait yet again.

I'm looking forward to the changes, and I hope you all are as well!

Another Godzilla cover for a fan restoration project, the original Toho English version of Godzilla '84 called "The Return of Godzilla".
