Gamora was already willing to be killed in order to prevent Thanos from reaching his goal; so, why not just have her kill herself before Thanos can capture her? Stupid writing.

Did the Gauntlet get destroyed at the end of the movie? Looked like it was melting or soemthing. I assume Dinklage will have to make a new one and the Avengers will have to steal them all back (or at least the Time stone) and undo everything.
Well he was captive for a good chunk of that. But yeah, Doctor Strange's stuff didn't make a lot of sense the more I think about it. Like, why did it take him so long to look ahead and figure out how to beat Thanos? And why couldn't he play with time more to give the heroes a competitive advantage against Thanos and his minions? Probably overthinking it. People aren't gonna kill themselves unless/until they absolutely have to, which is what Gamora tried to do. Too bad the Reality Stone was messing with her. |

Heck, Dr. Strange could have simply used his knowledge of the Mystic Arts to travel to another dimension as he did in his own movie and leave the Time Stone there. Problem solved. He could have done the same with Vision.

Strange saw all the possible future outcomes when they were on Titan.
Only scenario where they would win is if Thanos had the time stone, making Strange unable to turn back time to undo everything that happened. Also explains why he gave up the stone to spare Tony's life even though he said he would choose saving the stone over Tony and Peter's lives on the ship. |

Not from Fury's perspective, because he didn't know the nature of the phenomenon by which people were disintegrating. For all he knew, it was exclusive to Earth or even just the area he was in.

I think Thanos needed all the stones to wipe out half the universe because otherwise he just didn't have enough power to do so. Mind and soul to connect to every living thing and space to be able to reach them.

The handle is no longer a part of Groot, so it remains. Just as someone's clipped fingernails or toenails would remain after they have been turned to dust. Well, at least that's my own explanation.

Certainly, some of these folks will be offed in Part 4. And once seen in its entire 5-hour context, the story will hopefully be far more effective and resonate more. But I just didn't get emotionally drawn into the finale of Infinity War the way others did because I knew a bunch of the characters who turned to dust will be resurrected a year from now. |

The thing most underrated in this movie is the fact the production team finally stopped asking Liz Olsen to do a Sokovian accent.
Witch and Quicksilvers accents were so horrendous in Ultron it was almost comical. It was weird hearing Wanda speak normal English without an accent but I'm glad they went with that creative choice cause last time they made her do the accent her regular American accent would switch in every few lines. It's just as bad as Daniel Kaluuya's Wakandan accent. He had arguably the worst one in Black Panther. |

Yeah it's not a big deal, I guess the accent could erode over a period of time. Two years seems quick though, and she's hiding in Scotland with a dude who speaks with a British accent, so how she lapsed to American still wouldn't really make sense lol
