I thought Ruffalo was fine. I just can't imagine Ed Norton in these movies so I'm glad the switch happened. His arc is actually a clever inversion of Thor Ragnarok - before he was worried that if he turned into The Hulk again then Banner could never come back. Now Banner WANTS to be The Hulk and can't turn.

It’s the eyes. I noticed it a bit too with Proxima. She is gonna be a bit of a surprise breakout from the movie.

As for me, I still will stick to my dream and love of Peggy Carter. Sorry, Haley Atwell just is in a class above.

Watched it last night. I lost count on the amount of times i smiled and went "Wow". Someone here commented on how this is the most "comic-y" comic book movie ever and I have to agree. So many great team up moments. And Thanos is simply badass. A couple of times where the CGI was a bit lacking (him going up the stairs looked jittery). Also a bit disappointed on how Hulk is pretty much a cameo. He's always been my favorite cb character and i was expecting more screen time of him. Overall i thought the movie was fantastic. 9.5/10.

Any thoughts on why Fury would call Captain Marvel? Why wouldn't he contact Stark or Cap?

The 3D was great. Caps shied flying towards the screen during the logo scared someone yesterday.

Good question. I believe that the Captain Marvel movie will answer this since Fury will be a main character

I read it (digitally) for the first time last week. It's great. Also read Thanos Quest, which leads up to the events of Infinity Gauntlet. Going through the follow-up graphic novel Infinity War now. Besides the great story, I just love the artwork for them too.

It does kind of make me wish they had made
[Show spoiler]Adam Warlock
a prominent figure since Phase 2 or something, so he could be a factor in IW, like he is in the comics. I suppose
[Show spoiler]Captain Marvel
will sort of take his place in that regard.

The assumption is that he had already been informed ( off screen ) about them being already involved....

I think it's because Nicholas J already knows they're busy defending the Earth. He knows where they're at always.

Whereas Carol is out somewhere else in Space.

I didn't know either until a few weeks ago when I read CC was added to the cast as one of Thanos' Henchmen.

When she first came on screen it didn't hit me until she had more dialogue. When Widow said they would kill you but won't and then she replied back it then hit me that it was CC.

Same here. Don Cheadle is fine as a straight-forward version of Rhodes, but Terrence Howard made him interesting IMO. Cheadle doesn’t bring anything too interesting to the role, but I guess it was all about the money Howard was asking. I wish they would’ve worked something out with him, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.

What did y'all think of Wanda's accent disappearing? I like it.

While I didn't mind they replaced Howard for whatever reason they did, Cheadle as his replacement made zero sense. And that's why I just haven't been interested in Rhodes since IM1.

I certainly was annoyed the only black Avenger they didn't kill happened to be the one nobody cared about the most. I didn't care Sam died either, but Rhodes lives while Nicholas J and Panther go bye bye.

Don't people lose their accent when they are living away from their native country for awhile?

T'Challa should've lived. Dr. Strange, Starlord, Spiderman were enough for me *cries*

Rhodes has had no personality and no meaning since the first Iron Man for me. He's one of the only characters that could die and leave absolutely no impression on me.
