Nemesis should be a stand alone release, the others are just not in the same level.

Are there any plans for other titles from Imperial Entertainment catalog:

1990 Angel Town (w/ Olivier Gruner)
1992 Ulterior Motives (w/ Thomas Ian Griffith)
1994 Double Dragon (w/ Mark Dacascos)
1996 Sabotage (w/ Mark Dacascos)
1997 Sanctuary (w/ Mark Dacascos)
1998 Boogie Boy (w/ Mark Dacascos)
1999 Late Last Night (w/ Emilio Estevez)
1999 New Blood (w/ John Hurt)
1999 It's The Rage (w/ Gary Sinise, Josh "Thanos" Brolin)

Any Cynthia Rothrock movies you're thinking about adding? I practically rented all of her films at the video store in the 90s.

That’s great to hear and I will!

Was confused by this verbiage in the announcement:

[Show spoiler]
MVD CLASSICS will be titles that kinda fall in between the MVD Rewind Collection and the MVD Marquee Collection. They might be a little too "obscure" for those labels and some releases might be DVD only (if it's a title that doesn't exist in HD or was shot in SD). We needed home for what we consider to be "other" titles and this is it.

Loving the most of the news in this thread. Keep the awesome titles coming!

hey what are the odds of other Imperial Ent titles, like for example Double Dragon (UK from 101 is very nice) or Tammy and the T rex?

Please release Nemesis as a standalone.

Anyone remember World Gone Wild with Michael Pare, Catherine Mary Stewart, Bruce Dern and Adam Ant? Who has the rights to that one?

The completist in me says release a box set, but on the other hand, perhaps releasing the first one would be a good way to gauge interest.

Either way I am in.

A.P.E.X. (1994) I don't think that's ever been released on Blu-ray, killer robots and time travel are good together.

Yeah, I would like to see A.P.E.X. on blu-ray too.

I do have the German blu of Prototype X29A, but it has some obvious DNR issues.

We all know that the sequels are not great. They just aren't. But the first is a sci-fi classic, and deserves rediscovery 100%. Then again, the completest in me (and a lot of others) wouldn't mind having the sequels. But will I watch them? Probably not anytime soon. Sue Price is nice to look at... I don't know. I'm buying either way. But that first film is a MUST!

Plus, we had a tough time with the Blast artwork and had to re-do it and it doesn't look or feel all that retro to me. Another reason is I want to put out some lower price stuff. I know these may lack extras, but with a $24.95 SRP, they'll be relatively inexpensive on Amazon. And I'll do something with Diabolik so they can aggressively sale price too.
Awesome to hear. I buy my MVD titles from Diabolik, because I love getting them early. Agreed on Blast and Crazy Six. Worthwhile, but probably not the same nostalgia factor.

I didn't think we'd get Van Damme for Lionheart and we did so, we'll see.
@ MVD Rewind Guy It's so awesome that you guys were able to land VAN DAMME for an interview !!! I'm really looking forward to the Lionheart release

If you are able to secure the rights to 3:15 that would be epic ! I would buy that movie in a second !

Would you guys be able to release these movies on blu-ray ??

I think Paradise might be with Lionsgate, could you guys please rescue it from them ?

Thanks and keep up the good work !

So I guess HBO lost the rights to Split Second around the same time as the rights for Tales from the Hood and The Changeling.

Here's hoping you can somehow make a new transfer for it, as the current HD master, while serviceable, could be a hell of a lot better.

Nemesis 5 is in the final stages of sound design as I type this with Anthony Riparetti (Kick boxer 2 & 4, Nemesis 2-4, Dollman, Dollman vs Demonic Toys etc) overseeing the final sound mix. As of right now part 5 is slated as DVD only. Any potential box set won't be complete unfortunately.

My man! I can really see your passion when it comes to these releases and it is appreciated. Keep them coming and I will keep buying them.

Can't wait to see what other releases are in store. We definitely have similar tastes in movies!

Cheers Eric.

I've been wondering about this, too. Apparently it is canon. Be nice to see MVD sponsor the worldwide release for Nemesis 5...

It would have been nice to see it included in this set for completest sake, but Worldwide Multimedia is handling distribution of the DVD.
