I'm not going to answer on the Chucky films as I don't pay attention to those but in the case of Tremors that collection you mention is DVD only in the US and the transfer even in the Attack Pack from a few years ago is in much need of a 2K or 4K upgrade. Plenty of room for more features too so on that one there is definitely a strong chance of a CE release. It's a fan favorite and Universal is doing much of nothing about it so I could see it.

I think the same thing applies to CP 2 & 3. The Chucky set released by Universal has some pretty nice transfers, but CP 2 & 3 have nothing but a trailer as supplemental material, and IMO they deserve a lot more. I say bring the CE for 2 & 3.

So I was looking through my Scream Factory releases...
I never realized Scream worked with Code Red. (Evilspeak)
Did they work together on any more?
I assume that deal is over with Code Red working with Kino now...

I believe MVD has Split Second.

Looking through the Hollywood Classics site I noticed that the very good Dutch horror The Johnsons is a Universal property in most territories worldwide. If the same applies to the US (maybe someone knows otherwise, I can't see a Universal logo on the AB DVD), I think Scream should definitely look to get it. If not, maybe Arrow might for the UK.

This is what I'm talking about, when people are totally nonsensical are their requests. Some of these people, as I've said before, just wanted the newly created art, poster and slipcover and want to be able to put it on their shelf with their other Scream Factory titles.

Like you already said, Universal is still interested in these properties and they obviously bring in money for them otherwise we wouldn't keep getting them.

So Mill Creek is also releasing Strait-Jacket, their release on a double bill with Berserk (two weeks BEFORE the Scream edition). Strange, yes? Any chance Scream is also releasing the latter?

Unfortunately, I don’t want to request Alex to pass the idea to Don, he may feel insulted that his work in 2 and Cult are not appreciated. After seeing Cult it’s pretty clear the series really needs a reboot in the 2018 Halloween sequel style.
Personally i'd rather Don leaves this franchise alone! I didn't like any CP movie since part 3 and Bride was decent as it tried to be scary and funny at the same time yet fell flat, Seed was terrible even the "brilliant" image of Chucky jerking off and bad jokes like the violin jokes plus shitty writing/directing, i thought Curse was pretty bad as it was a total mess with this review from one of my fave Youtube reviewers who is an honest man:
At least Curse tried to go back to the original's tone but i felt kind of fell on it's face even with the cop-out ending with Andy when it should had been the movie.

Cult of Chucky was really really bad and earns zero stars from me! it made no sense and awful writing/direction from Mancini who managed to kill the franchise. And he should cancel any sequel ideas and show ideas, he should just go as Mancini is a cancer to the franchise with his awful writing as he has been on a decline after 3 when i think 3 was the last Child's Play movie worth a damn.

He along with Kathleen Kennedy from Lucasfilm both need to go badly! i mean just end the franchise already, it's beating a dead horse since part 3. I think Chucky needs to be left alone and i'm fine with the trilogy.

Imagine if Comic Con announced them?

I assume you missed this post regarding the Tremors films that was posted after the post you quoted...

And as it pertains to the Child's Play films, people aren't asking for a box set, they're asking for collectors editions of Part's 2 and 3 which both lack any sort of special features despite their being tv cuts and an abundance of behind the scenes material available for release. I couldn't care less about the Tremors sequels, but the original film and CP 2 and CP3 all deserve better then the releases they've received thus far.

I really don't give a damn about "Tremors" past the original movie and I think Universal did a good enough job on that DVD/blu-ray release that it does not warrant any kind of re-visiting by Shout!/Scream Factory.

Far as "Child's Play 2" and "Child's Play 3" go, yeah I actually do enjoy those and I know every edition of those films on home video are barebones, so that actually is warranted, but past the first three and quasi-interest in "Bride of Chucky", I don't like the rest of the movies and just don't care.

Far as region-only releases, get a region-free player, I did and it didn't break my bank, in fact it was roughly just a $100 give or take at the time a few years back.

Tremors is badly in need of a properly-done Blu-ray release.

I think the existing transfer of Tremors looks terrible.

If Scream Factory (or Arrow) puts out a remaster for Tremors, I won't take a big loss for it since I didn't drop much for the box set of the first four films.

I have just the last two films on Blu-ray. The first four I still only have on DVD, so they would be easy Day One upgrades if good Blu-rays were ever released, by Scream or anybody.

I'm not sure who holds US rights, currently, but I'm pretty sure Anchor Bay did not license it from Universal. Anchor Bay's Universal releases featured prominent Universal logos on the front and back cover art. The Johnsons DVD didn't have Universal logos. It did have a copyright notice on the back for B.V. Lenox Holding Amsterdam.
