Just like sometimes it takes a few times to appreciate a movie or a song, the opposite is also true.
The villain in this movie was so bad I even wonder if he was just created as an afterthought.
Either they need to start getting their act together or no more Justice League, I'm afraid

Steppenwolf has been around since 1972 so no matter the execution in the movie he was hardly an afterthought

I was referring to the on-screen concept/creation of the character, not the comic book character himself

I think the no more justice league thing is a given considering the box office of this one.

Probably not this particular production in this particular generation, but both DC and Marvel keep being reinvented and brought back to the big screen over time

I'm kinda bored of Marvel films at this point but i will admit at least they don't make films like Justice League with horrible reshoots and many memes like Superman's face but Warner Bros has no idea what they're doing since day 1.

With WB it seemed like the future was bright after Man of Steel, but then things started going down a slippery slope. Hey at least DC still got Wonder Woman franchise to keep them afloat on the big screen

If Warner Bros. had a Kevin Feige-type controlling the output from the beginning, maybe they would be able to give Disney/Marvel somewhat a run for their money. They tried to position Christopher Nolan kind of like that, but that fizzled out almost immediately after "Man of Steel."

Unpopular opinion time: I actually enjoy the extended cut of "Batman v. Superman" as a one-two punch along with "Man of Steel." I like to view those two films as if nothing else came after. I know people love "Wonder Woman", I've never seen it and have no desire to. Absolutely hate "Suicide Squad" and "Justice League", but I will give "Aquaman" a chance considering it's a James Wan film and I love me James Wan-directed horror and am very curious to see what he does here.
