But yeah it was letterboxed. I swear on my life it was letterboxed.

That aircraft carrier film looked interesting though lol.

as always, I was surprised to see people getting up leaving as soon as the movie ended and the credits started. even though it was my second viewing, and obviously others had seen it before, we all stayed until the after credits scene showed.

hell, when I watch Marvel movies at home, I watch them until the credits are finished!

well since it Was filmed Entirely with IMAX Cameras, seeing it any other way is a step down (visually), no?

Add on some really well done 3D and it was breathtaking. That's right. My breath was taken. Curse you, Thanos. Can't wait for the 4K UHD of this. #Epic

The whole moon lands eventually, huge chunks break off and fire toward iron man first

Didn’t Bruce see Spidey in the park when iron man was fighting black dwarf?

Sadly (but not that much) Deadpool 2 is taking over IMAX screens next weekend.

The extra headroom in the taller AR, while not vital to the film, would make for more immersive home viewing when 99% of people have 16:9 displays. Hopefully we'll have that choice on UHD blu-ray. Either way, definitely day 1 purchase, and hopefully Best Buy will have a good counterpart steelbook for Avengers 4 next year to go along with their Infinity War one.
Goin for 6th showing later. Maybe 7th just before Deadpool on tues eve

The Betty Ross reveal bothers me the most. Because I had hope Liv Tyler would return. Perhaps she still might. Lady Sif is also slightly on the same level, in the sense they're just easily writing these characters out of the picture. But at least she wasn't pointless killed in Ragnarok. And depending on what comes of Aunt May catching Peter in his costume, I suppose she'll figure Peter disappeared due to the (faux) rapture.

I just realized my expectations of getting Spider-Man: Summer Vacation casting news around now won't happen for another month or 2. Due to what happens in the story.

I feel the same, i'd like some closure on Lady Sif and Betty Ross, even if it's one scene in a bar somewhere where she bumps into Banner and talk about how they moved on. It would at least get a sense that's it's over and done.

Saw it for a 3rd time yesterday. Still awesome! My question: how did Banner know (when he told Doctor Strange and Stark) that Thanos had the second stone already? Heimdal sent him to Earth before Loki coughed it up. Thor didn't even know Loki had it.

Loki coughed it up before that. He showed the tesseract to Thanos and then said we have a Hulk, then Hulk attacked him. So Hulk told Banner or something, so, yeah.

"Jane Foster's fate is too spoilery"

How so? Is this implying that we may see her again?

I thought Loki showed Thanos the Tessaract after Thanos started to torture Thor. It was early in the movie and I have a hard time remembering. I will have to look for the timing of all that when we go see it again.
