There is more room for weak CG because the artist is trying to recreate the world of a comic book, not the real world like in a drama movie

Again, to reiterate, regardless of what type of visual style a film is aiming to create, it's no excuse to have certain CG shots sprinkled throughout, that look like they've never made it pass the previs stage. There is absolutely no excuse at all for some of the CG renderings to look as bad as they do in Ragnarok. Thankfully, it's mainly just that sequence that I referenced. |

Did anyone get a shipment notification that lives in the NY area?
Mine says pre-ordered but when I look at the order detils, it states preparing. I can't cancel or change it. Hopefully this means they have one allocated for me? I am just a little guy shy because my Private Ryan 4K steelbook went to the status before preparing to the infamous trying to fulfill and will cancel by June 7th if it can't ship. Luckily I found one at a local store and picked it up yesterday. I then canceled the online order, that button was not grayed out. |

Yep, I forgot about Incredible Hulk. Still not exactly the time to start making proclamations about this being the best looking MCU 4K to date though. It's technically true but we've hardly got the widest sample to be working with

![]() I've been getting my 4k UHD new releases at Walmart as it's close by and they've been $24.96 on release day. I'd like to order from Amazon as I have a ton of Amex MR points I can redeem, but of course Amazon doesn't have the UHD BD for pre-order, and it'd take a week to get to me anyway as I don't have Prime. So hoping Wallyworld comes down in price . . EDIT: Went with the Best Buy Steelbook pre-order, I got my Amex MR points to work on bestbuy.com, basically getting it for free. And Amazon had a deal of $30 off order of $60 or more when redeeming Amex MR points, so I got Guardians of Galaxy2, Planet Earth II & Source Code for $10.xx + Amex MR points. Did good on my bargain hunting today! Last edited by The Duke; 05-13-2018 at 07:41 PM. |

Has anyone else pre-ordered the standard 4K version from Target.com? I've had two pre-orders cancel on me after saying that it was backordered. I've never had a Target pre-order automatically cancel on me, despite being backordered many times in the past. Is this movie THAT much in demand that Target.com has to cancel pre-orders?!?!

In-store price on release week has been $28 for the 4K Disney releases, I wouldn't count on anything less. (There was a comment above about $25 but I've never seen that.)
