I also find they make finding my posts easier. I chose to take a picture of an emblem on my car. The avatar actually gave me humor. I must have said something in a different thread that upset someone because they decided to first claim I was making up the fact that it was my car then decided it was an open opportunity to say if I did own it that it's an overpriced piece of crap car.

It almost made my day to see someone struggle so much to come up with a counter argument that they had to stoop to a personal attack. I love to LOL at those people.

I think it is a way to show your personality or interests and I enjoy reading peoples sigs.

well...I think its hard to connect with people when they don't have an avatar and they are the 400th person with "Blu" in their name somewhere...

I have kept this avatar for a couple years and only change it every so often..but, I will always go back to being a troll...

i agree, and i wish i could change my name now. i only selected doyoublu because i was a newb and wanted to have a name that was tied to the format. wonder if there's any way to change it.....

If you e-mail an admin they might help you out. Users don't have the option, though...

i usually only surf this site at work, so i guess finding a pic to use as my avatar is not really high on the to do list when im only looking around for a few minutes in between projects

I guess I don't care enough to be bothered uploading one. I bump the window to the left so as to be less obvious at work, with a good amount of the avatars being nearly naked (but ultra hot) chicks.

You might want to put "Formerly DoYouBlu" in your sig for a while so people know who you are.
