I'll still give it a chance. Wayans has been great and so has the writing. I can't wait to see what the chemistry between Scott and Wayans is like. If the timing is there, this could be a good thing.

The show exists apart from the movies; its not a continuation of them. Therefore, Clayne Crawford is the first to play the show's version of Martin Riggs. Sean William Scott will be playing his brother, which seems like a stupid decision. I was never that heavily invested with the show to begin with, so its no great loss for me.

I've never known Sean William Scott to be anything other than obnoxious. No way I could anticipate anything starring him. The show had a great two seasons. It's already ended for me.

Well, that's a shame.
I think they should have just cancelled the show altogether.

I don't dislike Scott, but I can see why people wouldn't like him.
However, no Riggs, no Lethal Weapon. It will not be the same show.
Will it be good? Maybe it will be good. But it's not LW. It's a spinoff of LW.

I'm torn with this.
I REALLY liked this version of Riggs, much more than really anything else in the show. So part of me wants to just write it off the same way I did Homeland at the end of season 3.

However, I also like SWS and think he's underrated (as a whole). I'll take that and give it a try as if it were a brand now show, watching for the first time.

Yep same once season 2 is finished I'm out. Clayne Crawford has been fantastic and if they are firing him then the show should be finished. There seems to be a lot of people that won't be watching season 3.

Wow...talk about a downgrade, I'm done with this show and in my eyes they just signed their death certificate here. No way it will make it past season 3.

In the original script for Lethal Weapon 2, Riggs died. So it's fitting. From certain point of view...

I bought S1, but I haven't cracked it open. I wonder if S2 will even get a release?

Downgrade? Give me a break, Scott is a far more accomplished actor than Crawford and is a nice get. His recent turns in Goon and it’s sequel were fantastic.

I’ll actually give the show a chance now

At least the Orville is going strong ?
