Blu-ray King

Honestly, it's not has bad as it sounds. I just watched the film with the U.S. audio mix on Youtube (the whole film is on there), then compared it with the Blu-ray. And you Know what? Aside from the brief sync issues, I have to say I prefer the Blu-ray track. The changes aren't huge but they do make a few plot details a little clearer and having Olivier Gruner provide the narration makes more sense than using a side character.
According to Oliver Krekel's post on this site, Pyun prefers his Director's Cut. This version features new visual effects and removes most of the narration. This cut only exists in standard definition. It's the same situation with Cyborg where he prefers his Slinger version. Though I don't believe he has disowned any cut of Nemesis like he has with Cyborg. Quote:
Here's a detailed breakdown of the different versions (minus the director's cut). http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=3367 Looking over the Blu-ray again, the only sync issue that really stood out to me was at 1 hrs 11 min, it lasts for about 20 sec, if you just fix that you'll have the best release of the film. And like I said before the Licensor may have already fixed the issue. Looking around online I can't find any complaints for the U.K release from 101 films, unlike the German release. Yeah, I was gonna ask.. has there been anyone that didn't get a slip with theirs? I'll probably have to end up ordering online, as I can't find a copy at a store around me, and I certainly want to make sure I get the slip.
I know when I bought Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, the slip was shrinkwrapped up as well. |

YES to all four of these! Been hoping Kino would put BULLSEYE! out for a few years now. It was one of those MGM Limited Edition MOD DVDs. Also, Roger Moore's pre-Bond Action film Crossplot is with MGM and would be a nice addition to perhaps the MVD Classics line as it's from the late '60s.

I just watched this movie Blood Games (1990) the other night it was surprisingly very entertaining and I'm glad it turned out not to be a turd.
Here's a summary from IMDB.com "A team of softball players get lost in the woods after their bus breaks down. They get attacked, beaten, raped and murdered by some psychotic men. The women fight back with baseball bats and bows and arrows". I would definitely buy this one on Blu-ray and it's with MGM |
