It’s not going to be $80 on release day.
My point is over time costs rise. It happens. Even to blu-rays. So comparing a release price from several years ago is not always going to keep the same price. A lot of external factors that go into getting that release out have risen in cost.
I wish bread and milk were the same price from 1950, hell gas too! That would be swell, but it’s not going to happen.

Me too!
Then just wait until you can afford them. Day 2, onward is much more cost friendly than Day 1.
