Just ordered Seventh Dwarf. Also repeating some others to see how they look on the 3D video wizard recently hooked up to my HD system in the den. Latest was Exodus Gods and Kings. Again, another film needed to be seen in 3D. Great 3D made this movie. BTW, the wizard produced a very pleasing 3D picture though not the full impact one gets with a real monitor. But then, one can't get too immersed using a 38 inch screen. .

Exodus Gods and Kings is a reference quality disc

I got mine from rahulandi but its seems like they don't have it any more. Perhaps you can e-mail them and see if they can get a copy.
Noticed some copies on eBay either all region.

Even if we don't get any more classic films converted to 3-D, I consider myself lucky in that every title they've done so far has been one of my all-time favourites. Every one. And the novelty of viewing them in stereo will probably never wear off because, after having seen them flat so many times, my brain will always remember what they "should" look like.

Top Gun 3-D is bliss. It won't change anyone's mind on the film itself, but if you're a fan, there's plenty to savour here. The opening on the aircraft carrier, with the planes taking off, is even more haunting and thrilling. There's a deep, fantastic shot of Maverick on his bike alongside the runway at Miramar. The flying sequences are all vastly improved by that sense of distance between the jets - the action is more dynamic, more exciting. Grain is heavy in places but gives the film a vintage, textured feel. For me, the 3-D was used appropriately throughout the film. I wouldn't change a thing.

Yeah i checked Sanborns and went through the process and when it came time to enter shipping there was no place to choose country, and it wouldnt recognize my zipcode. So it seems they no longer ship to the US. I will email them later to make sure.

As for rahulandi, i will look into it. thanks guys! Hopefully I get a lil luck on my side.

I figured at those prices Some would be duds but I must say that I enjoyed ALL of the 3D films from Splendid Film/Splendid Animation (Zambezia, Sam O’ Cool, Feddy Frog, etc...)! They all have detailed, gorgeous animation, entertaining storylines, good to great 3D and most have English language tracks with legit actors doing the voice overs. Not all have English tracks though... Fussball (or Goool!) I have never found with English ANYTHING.

I left a few others off that I forgot about like “The Thousand Faces of Dunjira” but after these my purchases will need to cut down CONSIDERABLY bc I have to find a way to buy Blufans One-Clicks for Coco 3D, Thor 4K, Black Panther 3D & Infiniti War all coming up semi-soon. $185 x 4 (+ shipping)= $800 minimum so I will need to sell some of my older special editions to afford it. I can’t afford it at all truly but want to complete Blufans Marvel collection. I’ve been collecting them for so many years it would be a shame to miss the last few.

Any suggestions other than selling my body or narcotics on how to bring in some extra money from home?
Stop overpaying for express shipping on all your orders and you will save a considerable amount of money. They will get there a bit slower but sometimes there's not much of a difference so don't pay that extra for shipping.

This weekend I watched Spider-Man 3 in 2D and The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D

I wish Spider-Man 3 was in 3D, it would have really helped sell all the greenscreening and already-badly-dated CGI. Nevertheless, I still preferred it to The Amazing Spider-Man with its redundant origin story and garbage scenes concerning Peter Parker's parents. Andrew Garfield seems less impressive too now that Tom Holland is in the role.

Watching the film in the cinema, at one point I found myself actually wondering if they'd mixed in a 2D reel by mistake, the 3D was that unimpressive. At home, I was better able to appreciate the all-too-brief pop-outs (a pointy building! Peter Parker doing a handstand!) but the only time the 3D made the film come alive was when the first-person action kicked in or when Spider-Man was in the sewers. Marc Webb clearly had no clue whatsoever about how to shoot a 3D movie, being for the most part content just to stick his actors in front of an out-of-focus background and completely ignore the third dimension. Even Spider-Man Homecoming had better depth overall, and that's a conversion.

I agree with your 3D assessment for ASM but I disagree about Marc Webb not being able to shoot for 3D as the 2nd movie has great 3D and is well shot for the conversion it received. I just put the first movie down to his inexperience in the big budget arena and with 3D in general.

I have to re-watch the second one, it did have less of the mild out-of-focus stuff from what I recall but how much of that was the DoP and how much was the director i don't know...

Personally I think the 2nd is a great looking movie, especially for a comic book movie (great colour etc.) and the cinematography and grading is so much better than almost all of the Marvel movies (after Marvel made the switch to digital). I think it also helps that ASM 2 is shot on film as far as I know.

It also had a great pop-out of Spider-Man full body out of screen.

ASM 1, agree garbage in all respects.

ASM 2, one of the best, also that gorgeous 3D.

New spider man, is somewhere between those two for me.

ASM 2 was really good. I dont understand the hate. It was really good and i liked electro. I loved the use of music when he was around. It was cool and unique.

it was also great in 3D . I was so disappointed they went with a reboot , since the reboot was mediocre at best.

I rewatched The Amazing Spider-Man 2 last night, the bullets out of the screen were great and as a 3D experience it beats the first one but I still think the pop-outs in the first one were stronger, though unfortunately all too infrequent.

The sequel is however much better at presenting the action in a genuine 3D space and just feels more like a comic-book movie should. Every scene with Spider-Man swinging around or Electro firing electricity is just a joy to behold, I could watch this kind of stuff all day.

Just as an aside, I picked up the 4K edition a few weeks ago new and sealed for 99p. It's such a bright colourful film that you'd think there would be value in watching it in 4K, but I love the 3D version so much that I have zero interest in ever watching the film flat. I sold it still sealed for £9.99.

i feel the 3d is good in this film as well, no way i would watch this film in 2d, i think the flying stuff with spider-man in this film in 3d is good but i still prefer watching the flying stuff with spider-man in the amazing spider-man in 3d because IMO it was far more impressive.

i enjoyed Visual Effects in both films, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 especially, IMO i prefer the Visual Effects in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 more than Spider-Man: Homecoming, I found the Visual Effects in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to be far more impressive, Spider-Man: Homecoming's VFX is good but it's no where as impressive as The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Visual Effects IMO.

I totally agree, this is one of my favourite superhero/ comic book movies, I love it. The visuals are great, the 3D is great. I also have a copy of this in 4K as I got it free with my 4K player and I tried watching it but I missed the 3D too much, I only made it about 10 minutes in.

I thought Spiderman: Homecoming was abysmal compared to this with weak and forgettable action. The 3D was good though.

Yes, attractively deep as the 3D conversion is, Spider-Man: Homecoming just feels so small-scale by comparison, though I do like Tom Holland in the role a lot more than I like Andrew Garfield.

At some point, I'm going to give these another shot.

ASM1 needs a major 3D boost via TV settings.

ASM2 can probably more or less play as is...

But this time, I'm fast-forwarding thru all the teen angst / romance crap.
