Just for further clarification now in that photo i posted on the previous page (altho im sure some people would of ascertained this now already), about it being Lando wearing his Return of The Jedi costume, with one of the tv spots we've had since then, it seems safe to say it's Beckett that is in that uniform. So unless it's Beckett it belongs to originally, it's possibly already Lando's, and one he owns as part of his cape/outfit collection stored in the Falcon.

If not that, then the only other way they'd probably come across it is from someone they kill and steal the outfit to use.

Himmel is misleading people because there is no opening crawl.

There's the "A long time ago..." text, then you get a few paragraphs that remain still and centered. Then it goes right into a car chase.

I'm super glad that Darth Maul in Solo has two mechanical legs and not the ultra-ridiculous spider-legs.

I rate this a 7.5/10 because Star Wars can never go wrong with me, but in this case it ranks low in the Star Wars movie list.

Chewy and Han is what makes this movie work. Their bond is priceless and for that I will watch it again.
Donald Glover at some point nailed Billy Dee Williams’ speech. The way he brought the lines, brilliant.
And the second gambling game was great. I won fair and square. Similar words were said in Return of the Jedi. “Hey, I won her fair and square!”

I was sad to see Thandie Newton go so early on in the movie, but who knows, maybe she isn’t dead.

Also, it looked like there was a Boba Fett suit in the Dryden Vos ship at the end, but most helmets looked like a Boba Fett helmet

What I disliked most about the movie that there was no Jabba.
I know they will show him at one point in one of the sequels, but still. A small cameo would have been nice
Darth Maul was really unnecessary. It almost looked like they had to put a Sith in there for the heck of it. He even turns on his lightsaber during a hologram chat.
This hold no candle to the Darth Vader lightsaber scene at the end of Rogue One.
Again, Jabba would have been better.

Still curious where they are going with this though. I have not seen any of the Star Wars animated series where he is in.

Another thing that needed more time to be effective was the relationship with Lando and L3-37. The droid dies, but who cares. I didn’t. It didn’t feel like a big loss either. Just something to move the plot along.
I was more sad when K-2SO died in Rogue One.

Yeah many things wrong with the movie, but the actor playing Han did a fine job.
Chewy was excellent, I loved him in this. Especially in the end when both of them are flying the Millennium Falcon and the Star Wars music as we know it was playing.

Speaking of the music. I was missing the excellent song from the trailer with the heavy bass sequencer. That sounded awesome.

Yeah it's just that "crawl" refers usually to the openings of the main episodes, the yellow text floating in space. That's not the case with RO or SOLO.
