ZONE OF THE ENDERS: The 2ndRUNNER – M∀RS will include the following new modes and features:

– “Very Easy” difficulty setting offers an alternative option for players who wish to enjoy the cinematic experience of the game’s story or are new to VR

– Various training modules and a mini-map

– 3D Model Viewer: Explore various refined 3D models in full 360 degrees

Players who pre-order a digital copy from PlayStation™ Network will receive a special PS4™ “Welcome to M∀RS”Theme, as well as Zone of the Enders avatars.

KONAMI will soon release a 4K and VR demo version on The PlayStation™ Store for players to offer a hands-on experience of ZONE OF THE ENDERS: The 2ndRUNNER – M∀RS prior to launch.

The game will launch on September 4 in the US and September 6 in Europe for 29.99 USD/EUR.

I've never played the original but this looks great. Looking forward to that demo.

I love this game, and have been looking forward to this re-remaster.

A bit of a shame the first one isn't getting the same treatment, but oh well.

They're waiting until an MGS2 remaster starts development so they can package a demo of it with the ZOE1 remaster.

There is a VR-exclusive cockpit view, but I'm not sure if the standard third-person view is available in VR.

Demo is live now but only in the US PS Store.

I played the VR mode for a little while but I guess this isn't for me after all lol. Either that or I need to get used to VR again. The title screen alone made my head spin and during the game, when using the quick lock function, it made it even worse. Perhaps it's also a matter of getting used to the controls. I've never played this game before and I was struggling with the controls while in the meantime dozens of fast moving enemies were shooting at me. I had to stop playing as I wasn't really feeling that well. Going to play normal TV mode first before trying the VR mode again.
