Lost Highway - not sure the UK is the best one. I have a German one (a kind of digipak thing - just preferred the art to the amaray) but I believe the French one might be a tad better. Inland Empire is never going to look great (it was shot in SD) but I think youre OK with the UK one. Mulholland Drive - best to look on that thread in the US section - the Criterion might be better than the old Studio Canal/German one. I like my Studio Canal digibook (Ive got 5) so Im keeping that. Barton Fink is dirt cheap - you should be able to get that for £5 easily.

UK Lost Highway is 1080i, where as the German is 1080p

BUT the UK one contains several David Lynch shorts:
- "Intervalometer Experiments" (10 min)
– "Darkened Room" (8 min)
– "Boat" (7 min)
– "Lamp" (31 min)

– "Industrial Soundscape" (10 min)
– "The Bug Crawls" (4 min)

So that makes it worth to own.

Yes, the 2009 Optimum/Studio Canal book release works with my player set to Region A.

I've just confirmed the same thing myself, Digibook works on Region A. I also own the Amaray edition too, and there's no playback on Region A.

Judging by the price it probably is, but hope I'm wrong.
I may skip this and hope for a standard edition which will be released eventually, probably another six months later.

These are all a part of the dynamic:01 DVD compiling Lynch website shorts (all are SD) but I’ve never been able to find it cheaper than Lost Highway itself. The recent reissue from ArtHaus (1080p) contains Dumbland, Dynamic:01, the MK2 interview with Lynch (not sure if still multi-angle) and making of/behind the scenes featurette. Only thing missing is the brief interviews with Arquette/Logia/Lynch/Pullman (MK2 release)
