I am wondering if Shout Select has the MGM films prior to the 2000s while MVD Rewind has the MGM films from 2000 after.

I've had the MGM disc as part of a triple feature with My Cousin Vinny and Back To School for years and haven't even bothered to watch it. It's a good movie but one I really have to be in the mood for.

It would be nice if they could release The Legend of Curly's Gold on blu though, is that one still with Warner Bros?

The cover art is very nice. Almost has a Drew Struzan vibe to it.

Awesome! Such a great film. I always loved it as a kid but now I'm older (I'm actually the same age as Crystal's character in the film), I appreciate it on the deeper levels that I wasn't aware of when I was young. All the musings on life and adulthood resonate a lot more with me, making it an even better film.

Never got the previous Blu, so I'll definitely pick this up. Didn't care much for the sequel. Had its moments but overall I thought it was unnecessary and just an obvious attempt to cash-in on the first's success. Burno Kirby was sorely missed in it.

I love this movie, but I'm going to hold off until I have more information, because the existing Blu-ray looks pretty fantastic.

Kind of surprised Jack Palance's name isn't on the cover even though his facsimile is. After all, he did garner an Academy Award for the performance.

They probably have to still stick with the original contractual obligations re: billing on promotional materials. Crystal, Stern & Kirby (in that order) were the only above the title names on the original movie poster.

Probably Paul Shipper, who has done a lot of Shout/Scream Factory covers. He has a very Struzan-esque style.

Uhhhh, but why the big city skyscrapers in the background?
