It doesn't seem to just be a matter of volume level discrepancy. They've muted the surround activity, the bass, the dynamics... everything. I wouldn't be surprised if this was another Atmos print-out either.

Ummm yes you can. Level correcting once you switch alleviates volume differences. The dynamics are not the same though.
Why are we arguing this anyway? This is the easiest title we have to date to do the quickest test back and forth to hear the difference! |

Surprisingly my WM had this, yet still don't have Black Panther 4k and didn't have A Wrinkle In Time 4K either... probably still trying to push those lame BD only 'exclusives'.
The Incredibles was on the side of the new releases endcap where the 4K releases are, but it was empty so I asked them since wm.com said it was in stock and at first the lady was like "The Incredibles hasn't even came out in theaters yet" clearly talking about the sequel so I said I was looking for the first one in 4K and she said "oh we might have those in boxes in the back" and asked another lady there and that lady said "Yeah I think they are, but I don't know if we can sell them yet" so I pulled it up on my phone and showed that it came out today and that it was buyable online so she went to the back and got it. If WM wasn't the only close option for me, I'd never go to this stupid store again. For the price that Disney has 4K as, you'd think they'd at least provide a tray for each disc. Stacked discs is a ridiculous concept. Last edited by kevin87; 06-05-2018 at 06:50 PM. |

Does the Blu-ray (Movie Disc) have new trailers like Incredibles 2 on the beginning of the disc or still the 2011 Trailers such as Cars 2.

Has anybody asked James Gunn about Disney ruining home Atmos mixes? Isn’t he the one that started 4K and Atmos for Disney home releases? Maybe he could begin to make things better there, since he seems like such a cool dude, and he’s always talking to fans on social media. Maybe by talking to him about this, we could at least save Infinity War’s audio.

The "family-friendly" or "soundbar" rationale is speculation, right? I mean, clearly there is a team at Disney home video who's making the worst decisions possible, but where has it been confirmed that they are attempting to appease some consumers?

Release after release they continue to do this so all of us have guessed its for the kids and soundbar friendly. No other logic makes sense lol
