I asked them politely to stop. They didn't. I put on headphones to block them out and was told I can't wear headphones in the shop. When I explained why I had them on they said I had to "just deal with it."

I am. By putting on headphones.
Sounds like they are doing it just to annoy you ...

If they do it again, try to turn it around, by joining in or by just laughing at it, etc ...
If they get the result they are going for they win, if not, you win!

Every time I see a guy with a complicated-looking hairdo I'm tempted to ask him how much time he spends in front of a mirror every day getting it to look so "done". I'm not in the habit of blurting out random questions to strangers on the street so I'll ask here. How much time do you guys spend on "hair maintenance" every day? Those dudes with the Jimmy Neutron 'do's must spend at least 45 minutes combing and shaping and moussing every day. Even if I still had all my hair I would never spend that much time. I guess having lost some of my hair means all I need is 5 minutes to comb it back

I've been miserable all freaking week, seems to happen every time i try to work a full week at this place. I've got one more day this week but as of right now I'm ready to hit up the first bar I pass on my way home and get hammered. Fortunately that bar is only 5min [s]stumble[/s] err walk from where I live

Medical records for a local mental health office. It would be a lot more tolerable if I weren't surrounded by whiny morons who spend more time whining and socializing and pretending to work than getting anything done. Supervisor being a complete toady who doesn't help anyone she doesn't like doesn't make it any better. Why I only do what she says if I feel like it. Not like she has any real power anyway, most non-contracted employees where I work have very little.

I'm still wondering what to do with a situation about a hiring mistake my supervisor is in the process of. I'm pissed and that won't go away unless(?) I attempt something.
I've ruffled some feathers in the past and am not looking forward to doing so again.

Don't know why this is on my mind but there's a member on this site that seems to only post information about upcoming releases, sometimes prematurely, and nothing else. I'm talking about Akijama. Who is he and why doesn't he say much? Has anyone ever seen him participate in conversations here? It's just odd.

I'm excited that Jared Leto is getting a standalone Joker movie! I don't know about you guys, but I liked his version of the Joker, we just got barley any screen time in the debut.

Heath Ledger will forever be the GOAT for that role, but I like Leto's version of the villain because it's different. Instead of the mind games and masterful chaos, he's more of a gangster thug that will drop you on the spot for looking at him wrong.

I'm a Batman nerd & the Joker is my all time favorite villain. You can never duplicate Heath Ledger, so he needs a new look if he's on screen again -- which I think Leto gives. I'm not sitting here saying this is a shoe-in to be awesome, because DC has a bad track record with these things, but with Leto producing too, I think it will meet the needs.

I'm excited by the possibilities as well. I've been enjoying the DCEU and really liked its take on the Joker. I wasn't a fan of Heath Ledger's take, though, and found his performance more annoying than anything else. Jack Nicholson is still tops for me but I thought Leto was really interesting and would like to see more of his Joker.
