Yup, sounds about right. Their customer service is really bad, not only at contacting them but also to resolve your issues. MP is working at a loss so I doubt they have many costumer service reps.

That's what I did. I just got a readmittance pass, tell them that I didn't bring the purchase card because I used Fandango or something and went to a different theater. (Screen masking issues)

I like my moviepass but I do hate I can't see the same movie twice but I don't care I have been checking into movies I'm not going to watch and than walk in to the movie I want to see it is simple to get around this if your theater doesn't have assigned seating. I just don't see why they want to be petty *******s about watching moving a twice, oh well I have to check into a different movie to see Solo for the 3rd time today

Simple. They're hemorrhaging money. Sure, it's easy to buy a ticket for another movie at around the same time, but a lot of people won't do that.

And sometimes it's not as easy and you have to work around the showtimes and coincide if the one you don't want to see hits close to the one you're going to walk into.

We've got your first initial, last name, year of birth, and city of residence. Your movie pass will be deactivated within 24 hours

I haven't seen anything yet this year that felt like it demanded a repeat theater viewing, but when I do I will no doubt do the same.

It's a little annoying to be sure, but of the times I've used MP to do a second viewing, it's cause I already did a premium screening (with Last Jedi, Infinity War, and Solo got IMAX 3D tickets for opening weekend as that's how I wanted to see the movies first, plus those showings need to be bought in advance to get decent seats anyway), so it wasn't a big deal for me. Frankly if I didn't have MP comping the second viewing, I may well have waited for Blu to do a rewatch on one or two of them.

As far as checking in to another film goes, that's harder to do as most theaters near me have assigned seating, and the biggest one that doesn't has two different levels with different entrances (so you would need to be sure both movies are on the same level). I suppose one option someone could do is a "check in with missing movie" as I doubt they are watching that closely and I've seen movies I saw with that option are available for regular check in later, but since I don't see movies multiple times in theaters that much and do need the missing movie option sometimes due to their errors (had to use it twice last month), I'm not gonna break the TOS personally for that.

man, support really going downhill fast. Wife couldn't get camera to work right, and when she goes to chat it automatically sends her to FAQs with no discussion. When I finally got through on my app, they told me they no longer manually approve of tickets, so reinstall app and if I have a problem send an email or read the FAQs.

Hasn't support always been really crappy? Luckily I've never had to dealt with them.

Any of you guys ever had a Dolby Atmos theater show up under standard showtimes? My local theater does which makes MoviePass eligible for that which is pretty awesome. Been using it to see all big movies on. Def still pissed about not being able to see movies more then once, but I'll take that win. If I want to see a movie again I'll just do iMax, 3D or something like that. Or
[Show spoiler]possibly do the other
thing.

So my local Drive-In just opened for the season and it shows up on the app. I haven't been since I was a kid but I'm tempted to check it out. Anybody else have one still around?

I have two Drive Ins close to me. One charges per person in the car but they don’t care what is in the car. Since it does double features, we pack a small picnic and relax.

Dolby Atmos isn't a premium format in itself. Now a lot of times premium screens like Dolby Cinema or Regal RPX are the ones which Atmos sound systems, but there is one regular screen near me with Atmos sound (though all the times I went there last year: Terminator 2, Justice League in 70mm, Shape of Water, and The Post, the film was not in Atmos), and that shows up in Movie Pass.

And again I see a lot of Thursday night showings for this week's releases are not appearing in the app. I find it funny considering one of the films not showing up is American Animals which is released by MoviePass

Right and my theater that has Atmos is actually a bit more independent and ALL non-3D showings are MP eligible, even upgraded 21+ seating, and Movie Parlor (arranged to feel like a home theater) are eligible. Either the small chain is in alliance with Movie Pass or they just figured out they could only charge $11.50 and Movie Pass people would come. It's even a special button in their cash register system, the ticket prints outs saying MoPass $11.50.

Mine show all this week’s new releases, last week Action Point was not in the Movies tab all weekend. I had to go to a specific theater and find it there.

It must be based on region and who is responsible for loading them. I remember screenings being added throughout Thursday last week too.

Yeah, I was actually talking about going to specific theater on Movie Pass and the Thursday night showings are not appearing there (I know they are playing the films Thursday night because of Fandango and the theater's own website). Movie Pass usually gets the showings up to date on Friday though.

Haha. I saw it too and feel the same. It just wasn’t very funny and all the stunts, except for one, that Knoxville does are in the trailer.

That's what I'm planning on doing. Ours has retro nights and mini-golf, it's actually pretty cool. It also charges by person, not car, so that's probably why MoviePass is accepted.

I'd keep checking, mine just started showing up even though they technically opened for the season a month or so ago.
