I was looking to get a taste of what Green & crew are cooking up and I'm liking what I've seen.

This one has to be the best Halloween movie since the original. Otherwise I won't be able to ignore all the other sequels like this new installment wants me to. Very hard task.

It'll be easy for me. Other than H20 and 2 (had the tension and suspense but a bust overall), the other sequels mean zilch to me as I didn't like them very much.

Go back and read some of my other post on my main issues with what I saw in the trailer.. You're acting like someone is wrong to not have a negative reaction to what they saw.. Yes it will be interesting to see how they pull it off, isn't everyone interested to see that? lol lets play a game.. You're a writer and you need to come up with how Michael gets back into the mental hospital after being shot that night. Now keep in mind Michael as a character and what he is capable of doing to people and how bullets, knives, etc don't effect him and he's pretty much impossible to stop at this point... k you're up go

1, 2 & 7 are a nice trilogy. Also like both Zombie films very much. 6 has a pretty amazing atmosphere.

I'm 34 even though I'm technically a Millennial I don't consider myself one because I didn't grow up with things Millennials did like Cell Phones, Social Media, Smart phones etc. They really need to fix the whole generation years.

Looks EONS better than Halloween H20, which was always super overrated Dawson's Creek era rubbish.

Also somehow retains all of the good aspects of Rob Zombie's entries without the needless white trash hillbilly silliness and faux grindhouse atmosphere.

Michael already spent 15 years in a mental ward waiting for the day to escape, so why is it so hard to imagine that he'd spend another 40 years in a mental ward waiting for the day to escape so he can finish what he started?

Yeah, it really spoils the almost supernatural ending of the original film IMO, and the threat of Michael seems diminished, if he just got captured by the police afterwards.

The scene with the teeth and the implication that Michael did it with his bare hands....yeesh.

But yeah, this is looking like a damn good slasher flick. Haven't had one of those in a while (though I did hear decent things about the recent Strangers sequel).

Yes I know but that's clearly not the case in this film. I'm waiting for someone to tell me how this "incomprehensible force" got back into the ward? he can't be stopped so how the hell did he end up imprisoned for 40 years lol.. did they ask Kevin Mccallister how to set a good trap lol.. come on with this praise
