I feel like SF hasn't done a double feature in a while now. Glad to see it with this one because they're both blind buys for me. Increased the chances that I'll buy this release!

Yep, this must be an October or ComicCon announcement, but Jim posted that he can now "finally" announce these, so he must've been given a greenlight on some level. Interesting that the post has been taken down. I do have a screen capture, though. We all know how SF is on secrecy.

Don't get all bent out of shape. It's all about what they can license and what they're not able to for whatever reasons. I have no idea who controls the rights to Cheerleader Camp (the production company was listed as Pom Pom Films or something like that) but I'm sure if the rights were available we would've seen a release by now. It still may happen...someday.

I wonder what kind of rights limbo this movie is in. My fingers are crossed for a release eventually.

Wonder if this potential double feature of Wynorski favorites will be a fast seller and go OOP. Let's not forget the Deathstalker double feature is OOP. Does anyone know why that one was gone so quickly? Was it a rights issue? A limited run? I don't own the Deathstalker; wish I did. But I won't make that mistake with the SHM2/HTD.

They did a limited run of about 5 titles, Deathstalker being the most popular. They haven't done that since and there's no indication they'll return to that model, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Here's hoping In The Mouth of Madness has retrospective, new commentary with old one, interviews, deleted scenes, behind the creature effects footage to see how they did the creatures, trailers, tv spots and all that.

I even preordered Return of the Living Dead II from there and i threw away my old DVD.

I believe for October we might get Critters boxset with 1 and 2 CEs, Fright Night 1 and 2 CEs, The Blob CE, End of Days CE, Company of Wolves CE etc. so who knows what surprises we might have in store to make up for garbage like Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4 and Exorcist 2.

There were some Corman titles Shout abandoned towards the end of their original deal - does anyone remember what they were? I think The Hot Box was one of them. Now that they own the library maybe they'll finish releasing the rest. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of double features in the coming months.

Hey Scream Factory, If you're reading this...

Deathstalker steelbook re-release or a new 4K scan with poster. It'll be like printing money.

I really hope the Wynorksi double feature is an October title. I don't want to wait any longer... Scream Factory is destroying it lately. This whole year has been great imo.

Hard to say.... it’s possible that Sony releases a UHD instead like with Christine, since it’s had multiple releases around the world.

Then again, if Sony allows it, SF might be working on a set of both films with the entire “You’re So Cool Brewster” documentary and other content.

No matter what happens, if you can get $100 for the TT release, take it now.

I agree. Even if they do not eventually releases the discs you can find the Eureka! release for less than $20 shipped and it has a better transfer and honestly all the extras one could possibly want.

Damn straight. Sell the TT for $100 and buy the one of the many imports available for under $15. I have the TT Fright Night, as well. It's probably a keeper for me, though. I like the TT label. But $100 bucks is $100 bucks.

Now that Scream Factory has a Warner Bros deal, we need a Gremlins release. The current release has horrid picture and audio quality

Yes indeed with Sony and WB besides Universal and MGM and smaller studio classic titles.

Yes that would be good with part 2 as well.

Most likely yet for those who own Eureka's BD like me they can keep it but be perfect for those who don't own Eureka's BD and never knew about it.

But what about Fright Night 2 CE? that be a perfect companion for those who own Eureaka's BD.
