I eat Lucky Charms, and yeah you can get some blue in your poo from it.

Well the next couple weeks should be interesting, starting a 2d "weekend" job this weekend and job#1 is insisting on mandatory scheduled overtime for the next 2wks. Guess i can do job#1 then race over and do job#2 at night, who needs sleep anyway lol

I just woke up from a dream that I won at the casino, and then in my timehop was a picture of the casino, I was there a couple years ago. Weird, right? I think it’s a sign that I should go..

Tonight I learned that if you don't have window cleaner handy, Lysol works just as well. I have an old dingy mirror in my house, sprayed some Lysol on it, wiped it off, and it looks crystal clear.

In fact I think it works even better than window cleaner.

I can't recall the last time I played a video game, I used to spend HOURS on the PlayStation...now my daughter has taken over it every free moment i have.

I still need to learn how to turn off a Pi without unplugging it, something to ask the engineer brother while I am in San Francisco next month.

Back when I had a complete flight control system ( including the rudder paddles ) for my PC I would play this one F-14 PC Game I had,
but that's been 15 yrs ago at least.

Ever once in awhile I'll still play Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far, that I still have on the Computer

Other than that I don't !

But back in the day, I would blow $20 at an Arcade easy in just a couple hours

Is there a term for feeling some need to get/see something before everyone else? Like the people who go to every 7pm movie showing because they feel the NEED to see it before everyone else. Or the people who wait in line for days for some new phone because they HAVE to be the first person to have it.

I just feel like there has to be a term for it..

for some, it can be anxiety. like if they don't have the latest, newest smart phone/gadget or see the next big blockbuster movie on opening day at the earliest time available, then they feel no self-worth. and they feel like a failure to their friends. it sounds weird, but there are those that do feel this way, unfortunately.

i used to be that way, sort of. i always felt crappy if i didn't get the latest phone or have the newest video game or have an awesome computer or the best console/games. but i learned to control it and not worry so much. there are more important things in life....like life, itself. and these people need to learn that or they will never feel full. they'll never feel any sense of accomplishment and will always be left wanting for more.

yeah it's fun to have cool stuff and have the latest technology. but sometimes you just gotta know when to say when. there are a LOT of things i want, but don't have. some of it has to do with money; but a lot of it has to do with needs vs. wants. and my needs will always greatly outweigh my wants.

Exactly one month to my vacation, it may only be one week but it'll be a well-deserved week off and I plan on literally turning off all electronics and going "off the grid."

Speaking of "off the grid". Today was my day off and my internet has been down all day. Spectrum says they have outages statewide in Texas. It came back a few hours ago but keeps dropping occasionally. I wonder if this some intentionl reconfiguration due to end of net neutrality?
