Nope. Last year, the box office was disappointing too for Memorial Day weekend. Deadpool 2 made quite a bit of money and more so than Solo. Not a lot of people are choosing to spend their free time in theaters now. They want to be outside and experience the Summer season. Ocean's 8 also didn't blow out the box office last week. It was number one but not ginormous numbers like Avengers: Infinity War.

Logan doesnt count as it was AFTER Deadpool...but all others mentioned do, to a point (all being comic book movies but not all the tradition superheroes...heck 300 is half folk story)

I just stumbled upon this Reddit threat, which features a link to a copy of the 2nd trailer for Infinity War in true 4K (4096 x 2160) with the fully intact IMAX ratio and which features PCM, DTS, and AC3 5.1. It should give us an idea of what this movie will look like on 4K-UHD Blu-Ray disc (without HDR). It looks amazing!

It may be old, but I don't think it's ever been posted on these boards before. Also, the movie is VFX heavy and therefore has a 2K digital intermediate; so, it's not surprising that the trailer is a 2K upscale. GotG Vol. 2 was shot in 8K but is a 2K upscale as well.
