I really wasn't expecting so much for Someone's watching me, looks like a great release and ditto for ITMOM.

Potential titles I could see from the line are:
Fandango
Year of the Dragon
Surviving the Game
Hearts in Atlantis (maybe...has no Blu in any region, and Stephen King is hot again)
Cruising (a long shot, but we know they admire the film)
Don't forget there is some Universal titles for potential besides Sony and WB plus some ITC stuff.

Memoirs.... Should really be a Shout Select title, it doesn't fit at all in the SF line up.

What's so controversial about it?

Well this might give you some idea (beware, spoilers). As noted before though, Jeff is a big champion of the film, so obviously not all homosexuals resent the film. I'm a big fan so hopefully they're able to get it.

Was really hoping for some deleted footage or the alternate ending of ITMoM. Oh well.

It is a Sci-fi comedy so since Scream does Sci-fi besides horror and thriller and suspense, it fits well.

You're talking about homosexuals protesting and boycotting the film? That was 38 years ago, Cruising has become a cult classic since then. I have a Facebook fan page dedicated to the film full of homosexuals who love it (me included).
As for Warner having issues with the film, they released an anniversary edition DVD for it in 2008 (I think) loaded with extras. No issues from their part.
If Shout doesn't get it, I'm sure Warner Archive will release it eventually.

Wow! Really looking forward to In the Mouth of Madness and Someone's Watching Me! I already have Someone's Watching Me preordered but wasn't really planning on double dipping on In the Mouth of Madness but now I just might after some reviews and feedback on the SF release. Hell, I'm just gonna have to buy it for the Horror's Hallowed Grounds episode which I'm a major fan of!

The previous BD was bareboned and has only 2 extras and this should be worth it for the new extras even behind the scenes footage even on the creature effects and interviews.

Good thing i didn't buy the previous BD.

Fair enough, I guess I'm just being pessimistic (I figured that some companies might be a little more sensitive to perceived concerns these days, though admittedly there's nothing yet to suggest Shout and Warner are two of them). I hope you're right and sanity prevails, no doubt Jeff would have done everything he could to secure this one. If not an October release hopefully it will be announced at SDCC. And if we don't see it from Shout I guess Warner Archive must indeed have plans for it at some point.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. Everything is a "2K or 4K scan" with "extras galore" or "extras abound" with "stills, behind the scenes, etc." Come on, folks. No reason to post the same things over and over again. Nothing wrong with discussing films or our wishlists for Blu-rays, but we can all read. No reason to clutter up the feed any more than necessary.

He was also pestering the TCM Next Generation and Exorcist II threads saying over and over how much he hates the films. Good, so go away.

I responded in a much less diplomatic fashion a short while back; he obviously feels that unless he continuously lobbies for every special feature possible and then some (hence the "etc."), there's no chance that said film will receive a stacked release.

It's puerile and mind-numbingly redundant.
