Dunkin Donuts breakfast sandwiches are tasteless. I've sampled just about everything on their breakfast menu and everything tastes the same, which is to say they have no taste. And why are their donuts $1 a piece? It literally costs them pennies to make 1 donut.

I don't eat there regularly. I used to stop in for coffee 2-3 times a week but lately even the coffee sucks. I only stop in if my boss sends me out on an errand in their direction (not very often).

When did that happen? I haven’t been in a DD since about 2011, but I remember them being 79¢ each; even cheaper if you buy a box of either 6 or 12.

I think they're were maybe 2 people who died on the show, one of them died a few days after bypass surgery from complications which was a sad episode she left behind 3 young kids. Some of them do get better, and some it's never known if they stuck with it. They do some follow up episodes.

Yes, at least 2 people!

I do feel sorry for some of the people on the show, but there are more that I don't.
( becuase of their own self destructive actions and behavior )

There was one that I saw that the guy after getting the stomach bypass surgery, he thought that gave him license to eat
all he wanted afterward and he was putting the weight back on

...

Seeing these people ( normally at the start of their story ) eating enough for 4 people at more than 3 times a day,
and saying I need it, I'm hungry, I'm starving, etc...
is hard to watch without yelling at the screen "put down the fork, don't eat so much, etc..."

I have seen a couple of people that have actually benefited from the weight loss surgery ( and the skin/fat removal surgery ),
and changed their lifestyle for the better.

But yeah, ( from what I've seen of the show ) that's not the norm ( from what I've seen ) and they do seem to peter out
on follow ups on some people.

Personally I think the show is expostive, and is just a variation on the "slowing down to watch a car wreck" mentality
a lot of show have become.

Wondering if it would be appropriate to show up intoxicated tomorrow, day #2 of this mandatory overtime bullshit. Its hugely risky however as I drive a forklift and since I actually need this job right now I won't do it but there are times where leaving and getting seriously bombed is definitely on my mind...

my last job? i guarantee you i could've shown up drunk multiple occasions and no one would've realized it. all i did was sit a computer, with headphones on. so i think it would've been too easy to pull it off there.
