Are you serious we are talking about Panama here and Tunisia before that the English have not met a decent team yet until they meet Belgium and whoever they get in the second round.

Yes it's Panama but it's up to the big teams to put the little teams away and England have done it in some style, unlike a hell of lot of other big names in this tourney so far. Love it.

6-1 then. England's biggest win at a major tourney ever. Fabulous first half, job well done in the second, and this will do their confidence the world (cup) of good. Bring on the Belgians, they've got some mighty weapons in their team but the pace of this England team will cause them problems if they get in behind them.

I heard some bizzare news on TV there about the Argentinian team having some big internal struggles with their own manager. There is now talk that both Messi & Mascherano will be tasked with picking the team for their next game against Nigeria on Tuesday. This is quite a unbelievable risky task for Argentina if these rumours are correct. I have never heard of an international team that lets their players choose teams for a big tournament like this one. If this turns out to be true. Maybe their time in the WC maybe coming to an end very soon when it comes to Tuesday.

There was a graphics error on RTÉ's scoreboard showing Japan 1 - 0 against Senegal. I thought that was rather odd. It has been corrected now.
