Really loved the trippy, gorgeous visuals in 3-D. Can't wait for more.

Doctor Strange is my favorite MCU movie, so anything that brings Derrickson and co back into the picture is a-okay in my book. And a horror focused sequel would be great.

That would be cool. Wonder if that could also be used as an in to get Blade into the MCU somehow. However they do it, wouldn't mind seeing a new Blade movie.

I liked the first movie more then I thought id would since I wasn't much of a fan of the comic version of the character, so I'm looking forward to a sequel.

I got no horror vibes from the first movie at all. Infinity War looks more like a horror movie by comparison. Still really enjoyed the movie and hoping the sequel turns out great.

Loved the first film and so hyped for the sequel! Benedict was perfect in the role.

There's some horror vibes in the mind trip scene (specifically the hands growing off fingers and arms grabbing Strange's knee). But yeah, otherwise there's none. But I think it's best described as a fantasy thriller.

'Kevin Feige Confirms 'Doctor Strange 2' Is Definitely Happening

http://comicbook.com/marvel/2018/06/...arvel-studios/

While the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still a massive grey area, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige did make things a little clearer at the Ant-Man and the Wasp press junket, confirming that a sequel to Doctor Strange is definitely on the way.

During a chat with Cinemablend at the event, Feige was asked about the next steps for the characters of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. The studio head quickly noted that Benedict Cumberbatch and Stephen Strange would definitely be back for more.

Great news! Doctor Strange is still my favorite MCU movie and character. Just after I saw the movie, I bought tons of Marvel comics in TPB/HC/Omnibus and even single issues with him (and Scarlet Witch) as character(s). Current comics run is still a little weird, but it's getting better!

I would like to have a sequel dealing with Nightmare, along with a continuation of the Mordo storyline (that could be finished in a third movie). I would also like seeing the introduction of Clea in part 2, leading to part 3 with a big finale in the Dark Dimension against Mordo and Dormammu to complete the circle!

No thanks. First one was good but nothing special. I really wish they would just end it with Avengers 4 and maybe have one film a year after that.

(Checks box office for the year.)

Okay, that makes one person who thinks that way...

I liked the first one, but then I was a fan of the character going in. I'm up for more.

Can I just say that I really wish Marvel hadn't wasted "The Defenders" title on the team of Iron Fist, Power Man, Daredevil and Jones because it would have been so great to have Dr. Strange eventually team of with a gang of misfit heroes like Hellcat, Son of Satan, Devil-Slayer, Gargoyle and Nighthawk in a future film. Now that shipped has sailed. Hrrmph.

And I’ll admit I contributed to all of Marvel’s grosses. But at some point it needs to stop or slow down. Infinity War did big business because people looked at it as the beginning of a finale that Marvel had been building up to for ten years. After next year, what’s the point? What are they going to build up to after that?

Personally I would love for this one to go more horror-oriented. IW showed us what Strange is capable of, now it's time for Marvel to go all out with trippy demon dimensions and things like that to face off against him.

Also, having Scarlet Witch show up would be fun. Her magic seems pretty different than Strange's, so it would be interesting to see them play off one another.

Wanda is a mutant, Strange is not.
