Very nice. I bought Return to HOHH last year, and just picked up the Vincent Price Collection 2 which contains the original HOHH. I smell a upcoming marathon.

Wonder if they utilized William Malone for anything else...namely FearDotCom or Creature...

New transfer is great news. Not mind-blowing, but pleased with this announcement, as it's a fan favorite and retains an awesome late 90s feel.

I like the artwork for Hohh enough that I might consider a pre-order if the price is right just to get the poster. This is a film that I've never been particularly eager to own though late 90's horror has grown on me some in the last year or so, so I will be picking this up at some point. My guess will be that this October will be quite stacked from all distributors however and my purchase of this will be pushed back to 2019 sometime.

With 2 announcements today I'm optimistic we might see 6-7 titles, even with the holiday next week. Should be time to announce another 4-5 by next Friday.

Don't forget also possibly Friday The 13th for a surprise announcements like they would do every friday the 13th.

Oh man, House on Haunted Hill and The Wasp Woman? BOY OH BOY! i'm gonna give away my old DVDs to one of the local libraries in my town or in Vegas.

House On Haunted Hill - someone here called it (don't remember who). Maybe Shout will be the ones to finally release Malone's Creature

They don't always announce on Friday the 13th, and this might be one such occasion given we would have had plenty of announcements the week before and even more the week after (SDCC). But if they do announce something, I expect it will be for November or beyond rather than October.

Even with a bad climax, this was an awesome remake with great sets, phenomenal music, great cast, and wonderful scares.

Day 1.

Definitely has my favorite horror movie opening credits:

House on Haunted Hill was about as safe of a prediction as a person could make. Same goes for Feardotcom which I can all but guarantee we'll be getting sooner rather than later as well. If warner hasn't bothered to release a mainstream horror film themselves yet by this point, it's pretty safe to assume Scream Factory will be releasing it soon enough.

I also hope for Scared to Death at some point too from someone.

Preferably a new scan, as the current widescreen DVD looks to be a VHS dupe of a full frame transfer squished into a widescreen format.

I agree. At least House on Haunted Hill was a first time to Blu Ray announcement which everyone usually appreciates.

A little underwhelmed but realize we still have more to go. I'm in for House on Haunted Hill (such a hot female cast). For me I think anything less than Critters will seem coming up short but I appreciate this is one I actually feel is worth getting since I don't have the overseas releases. let's see what happens next.

Yup that's the next bet with Critters, Fright Night films or whatever from WB, Sony, Corman, Universal or ITC.

Didn't i tell you? i predicted we would get House on Haunted Hill next and i was right and some of us were right, it's always a mystery why the first was never released on BD while the sequel did but now we have the first movie.
