Absolutely DeNiro. Pacino is good but he has far more mediocre movies under his belt; not to mention I feel he always plays the same character in every movie.

DeNiro on the other hand can go from a psychotic taxi driver to a comedian to a ruthless mob figure.

Like having to pick which one of my kids I love more!!! Had to go with DeNiro and it was Midnight Run at the end of the day that settled it for me. I freakin love that movie.

This is a tough choice. I like them both, but Pacino wins by a hamster hair. I liked Deniro in The Deer Hunter the most....but come on, Pacino is The Godfather.

And while Righteous Kill was no where near as good as the majority of their previous films, I didn't think it was horrible like many are making it out to be.

People give too much weight to Scarface. Great film, but not the deal breaker in this case. DeNiro IMO is a much more consistent actor while Pacino consistently plays the same character, just in different roles. And I realize that that might not make much sense, but that's how I feel.

DeNiro for me. He has more movies I enjoy.

Scarface and The Godfather are two movies I could never enjoy.

Pacino also had a few more good ones besides the list here:

Cruising
Sea of Love
Dick Tracy
Glengarry Glen Ross
City Hall
The Insider
The Recruit

De Niro is also phenomenal though. Midnight Run is one of his most underrated movies ever. That was one of my favorites growing up.

Pacino is one of the best actors. He did remarkable work in The Devil's Advocate, Scent Of A Woman, Serpico,The Recruit and The Godfather series.

Robert De Niro is an awesome actor too but my vote goes to Pacino. I personally didn't like Scarface.

Yes, Glengarry Glen Ross was phenomonal. Cruising....maybe not so much, but still ok.

These two guys are my top 2 favorite actors of all time, with Hoffman coming in at a close 3rd.

I think another great work by Pacino, but not put up there because it was a tv movie, was Angels in America. Outstanding cast and very well done imo

On the flip side, Pacino didn't sign on for Rocky and Bullwinkle.
