This might have to be a day oner for me because holy crap did this thing grip me. About on par with the original despite its messiness. It's so brutal and bleak in all the right ways. I guess I understand the appeal of The Counselor now.

The Counselor is a very messy tale to get through. A lot of people were put off by how it played out with certain characters, but then...the story comes from the same guy who penned No Country for Old Men, Cormac McCarthy. So if you went into The Counselor expecting something different from that guy...

Do not make assumptions of my intelligence. I disliked it because of the frustratingly vague storytelling, sluggish pacing, the endless monologues and Cameron Diaz's awful casting. It was a big swing and a miss, imo.

Also, any word on what audio codec the Blu for this is going to use? Reaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllly hope it has a 7.1 track, especially over the fact Sony seems to allergic to giving them.

It has a 7.1 DTS-HD MSTR track. Some of the foreign dubs are also lossless, albeit 5.1.

Just picked up a copy from Walmart that came with the original. Had a Walmart exclusive sticker on the front.
