US by a country mile, the UK version is fine but the US is special. Having said that, even the US one ain't perfect. It's solid gold through season five, silver til Michael leaves, and bronze til it peters out at the end. Those last couple of seasons aren't great but I still like hanging out with the crew, even if the stories aren't up to snuff (and that whole last-season thing with the boom mic guy and Jim/Pam's marital strife was just dumb).

Yeah, that was kind of a red herring, to pull us in and fu*k mess with us...

I think they wanted the audience to think that the boom mic guy might hit on Pam and she might resiprocate and cheat on Jim
( even if only a kiss or something like that ) becuase of the problems they were having.

Glad they only wanted us to think it and never really pushed it, that would of killed my love for Pam ( and the show )
if they had done that.

US one is hit and miss (mostly miss), UK one is gold from beginning to end.

The UK Office is high on the list of best comedies in TV history.

The US version had a strong run for a few seasons but went downhill so badly. And even at its peak, it couldn't touch what Gervais/Merchant did.
Yikes, must be rough knowing people have different tastes and opinions. Calm down there, bud.

UK by a mile. Gervais and Merchant created one of the greatest comedy shows of all time. Brent will go down as one of the greatest characters ever. The entire cast are fantastic.

The US version is good but not great.

Once Steve left the US version in 2011 it sucked the only good episodes after he left were the few Ricky Gervais popped up in

UK, easily. Ain’t much of a fan of Gervais and Merchant these days but they created something amazing. The US desperately wanted to be The Simpsons and John Krasinski should’ve never been allowed to have a career (A Quiet Place was overrated!).

I love the US Office, but the last few episodes of season 8 and all of season 9 are just downright garbage.

Haven't watched the UK one yet.

My Post in this Thread the other day was my 1st one, and it made me want to get the Series.
So I did and started watching it today ( came in this morning ), up to episode 11 of season 2,
counting the extra's.

Couldn't bare to wait to watch the rerun episodes on Comedy Central
I'm going to binge watch this till the Final Episode

Speaking of the US Office, what is the funniest ep? A friend of mine has heard of the office, but just rather watch the funniest.

In my opinion The Dundies (season 2) is probably the funniest. Diversity Day (season 1), The Injury (season 2), Gay Witch Hunt (season 3), Dinner Party (season 4) and Fun Run (season 4) are funny as well. The best cold open is from Product Recall (season 3).

I would show him Stress Relief from Season 5. Dwight driving the office into a panic with his fire drill is arguably the funniest scene in the whole series. The later scene with the CPR dummy is up there as well.

Stress Relief is by far the funniest episode of the entire series. Every single scene is so hilarious. They were at the top of their game writing and acting that one out.
