These are the 14 black and white Golden Age 3-D titles.

Dragonfly Squadron
Creature From the Black Lagoon
Man in the Dark
The Maze
Cease Fire
Revenge of the Creature
The Mad Magician
It Came From Outer Space
The Moonlighter
I, The Jury
Catwomen of the Moon
Robot Monster
The Glass Web
The Diamond Wizard

With the addition of Revenge of the Creature, 8 of these 14 black and white Golden Age 3-D titles have been released on 3-D Blu-Ray. However 2 of them (Man in the Dark, The Mad Magician) are currently OOP.

Is there any chance we will see Robot Monster and Catwomen of the Moon on 3-D Blu-ray anytime soon?

I've been trying for many years and have given up.

I'm amazed you've been so patient. It's a pity he didn't come to terms with Kino on the proposed 50 film deal.

He's not going to live forever, the villain.
When the time comes don't be surprised if it turns out he was lying about elements he claims to have.

3-D is outstanding in Catwomen Of the Moon and Robot Monster but the films are so stultifying stoopid and boring I would rather hope for The Diamond Wizard instead.
A 3-D bluray would put this obscure film front and center and the curiosity value of it would no doubt result in good sales.

Bob, have you seen production paper from Menzies' Invaders From Mars (1953)? Do you know if there is any production paper? You dispel the speculation about it being intended as a 3-D film in Myth #10, I assume to correct you-know-who's liner note. I'm not questioning that, just wondering if there might be additional information in the production paper. It sure looks like a 3-D prep when I watch the DVD.

Invaders From Mars -- I don't mind saying I love this movie.

No production papers exist, so far as I know. We based our conclusions on research in the industry trade journals - and common sense.

If Menzies/Alperson had wanted to shoot in 3-D, the Natural Vision rig was available.

Has anyone ever heard of this film before? Does it still exist?
Thanks, Phil.

We're dealing with some major problems right now with a distributor in Mexico. He claims to have information on this film but until he delivers on material that we paid for in January and have not received, I'm not about to trust him with any more funds. I'm already in the hole for $1160.00.

On a positive note: our landmark 2015 Blu-ray release of 3-D RARITIES gets a rave review from Bill Hunt at The Digital Bits.

We're working on volume 2 at this very moment for release in the near future from our good friends at Flicker Alley!

Is someone keeping a current list on what's available and what's been announced?

You could check here https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/searc...uctionyeardesc

Scroll down/skip any entries that have no "year of release" added on them, which appear first (Hint: there are much less if you select the flag, top right), till you get to 3-D Rarities, which has the earliest at 1922, then following to the golden age, by increased year of production. (There are some place holders)

You can do the same here https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/searc...productionyear but in reverse as it starts with the most recent years.

Last edited by Deciazulado; 07-12-2018 at 02:29 AM. Reason: cleaned up several "no year" entries on the link

Thanks.

Looks like that's not quite up to date, so it's missing:

We've run into a delay accessing some 35mm elements on EL CORAZON Y LA ESPADA in Mexico. I thought we were on track to get them in January but a crook named Peter Hamilton has taken my money and not delivered. We are now pursuing legal action against this shady individual.

Rest assured, I do not give up easily and am still on the case. When this rare 3-D gem appears on Blu-ray, we want it to look its very best.

Therefore, at this time, it looks like 3-D RARITIES II may be delayed until early 2019...

I hate getting burned on money. Some lady burned me for $600 nine years ago and it still bothers me. The good news is we have Revenge of the Creature right around the corner, and Sangaree shortly thereafter. Plus, we have Jivaro in the pipeline. Bob, at your convenience, please provide us with a comprehensive list of other upcoming titles that I haven't listed. You know, the ones that only you and a select few know about and are presently keeping secret. Thank you in advance for your compliance to this request.
