Looks like their Gen 3 players may be coming:
Amazon: A3 $299 1080i A30 $399 1080p A35 $499 1080p I think the only reason Toshiba continues to sell a 1080i player is so they can brag more about lower prices. Problem is people that dont know any better are gonna buy it, then have to replace it on the back end one day when they get a 1080p tv. Th BR camp really needs to get some releases going and some player price drops or this thing is gonna go on forever. Unless BD+ cant be cracked then it might be over, but Im not going to count my chickens on that. |
