It was a very good World Cup.
I’m still not convinced with VAR but I enjoyed this tournament.

Great tournament. Best in my lifetime I think. Loads of goals and good football, and lots of shock results.

I'm not sure what my thoughts are on VAR - my instinct I think is to not be fan, but actually I think it's fine, but the officials using it are somewhat lacking. Some of the decisions that have been made, including the penalty today, I don't know what they're looking at to come to the conclusion that they have.

Too many of our best athletes go into NFL, basketball and baseball because that's where the celebrity and money are. Football has always been a redheaded stepchild sport here.

The standard of the MLS has improved greatly,did you see some of those goals yesterday?
The interest in soccer there is miles more than it used to be and I expect it to continue.

It’s the best sport in the world and while the best nation,Brazil can make countless great footballers,they all end up playing in Europe so I think the same will happen in The States.

The final had it all; an o.g, a debatable penalty, some well taken goals, a goalkeeping howler and a brief pitch invasion!
