Being a Morgan Creek title, Pacific Heights is no longer with WB. That's not to say Shout couldn't get it as they've made a (small) deal with Morgan Creek in the past, but that was a while ago now and who knows what's happening with the Morgan Creek catalogue now.

Ugh, that sucks. I thought Morgan Creek was some sort of a WB subsidiary. Was really rooting for Pacific Heights as one of this year's Shout Select announcements.

Yeah I've been wanting Pacific Heights on blu ray for a long time. Great and criminally underrated thriller. I'd also love the equally great and criminally underrated Unlawful Entry on blu ray as well.

I think the reason we haven't seen a sequel to Fury Road is because Warner knows the movie stood out and won a shit ton of Oscars because George Miller was behind it, so they won't let anyone else do it (bless them for that) and Miller won't just take any script, he won't do it unless the project is right (bless him for that).
As for Road Warrior, I'm pretty sure they're aware of its cult value but Warner is not very keen on producing extra features for their catalog titles, unless it's a classic film like The Exorcist.

The Road Warrior has more than just "cult value"; it's a seminal action classic.

I got it for cheap so I'm not complaining too much, but the features on the existing Blu-ray (itself a re-release) are embarrassingly scant and not befitting a film of its status.

That's exactly why I think Warner is saving the film for a UHD release instead of giving it to Shout. Hopefully I'm wrong tho, would love to see a CE of Road Warrior.

Definitely not great movies but I'd still buy the collection, Poison Ivy. Looks like they're sitting with New Line. Not sure how the rights work there. Another one I have no idea what the rights are like would be "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane", which I had such low expectations for but actually turned out to be pretty good. Just throwing some new ideas on the pile! Figured I can only keep requesting the same titles I know they have relationships with so many times.

I believe Mandy Lane is now with Lionsgate.

I just realized something...Shout just announced that Saved by The Bell collection I mentioned a couple posts back. The previous Saved by the Bell collection was released by Lionsgate. We might get bigger announcements than anticipated?

As for Beetlejuice, Gremlins, Poltergeist and the Mad Max sequels, I think Warner might be saving those titles for UHD releases.
Any of those might be nice and don't forget about FN 2 as well which fans like me desperately want on BD.

I'm betting they might announce Mad Max 2 CE.

They often have a Christmas related title in these announcements so I’m predicting either Silent Night Deadly Night 2 CE (I’d pick that up in a heartbeat. I LOVE it.) or Black X-Mas CE or Santa’s Slay getting a non CE release.

They already did a Black Christmas CE. I hope you're not asking for a steelbook lol or the horrible 2006 remake.

I'd love to see the remake on Blu-ray. I thought it was fun. If you can distance yourself from the fact that it's a remake of a classic, it's got a great cast and is a lot of fun in its own right. Some amazing kills.

What about the Stallone 1986 film i mentioned or that 1999 Arnold movie i mentioned as both are related to the holidays? I'm sure they might do Silent Night Deadly Night 2 as well.

Black XMas is owned by Miramax and Lionsgate as i'm sure Vestron might release it and same for Santa's Slay being owned by Lionsgate.

It had some okay moments but what really threw me off was
[Show spoiler]Not even sure if this is a spoiler but when the killer ends up being bright yellow, I just thought wtf. Why? Just seemed like a big joke to me.

And...It already had a blu-ray release as well. I have it lol.

Runaway would be good for Scream since it's sci-fi and Cobra is a mix of horror/action.

Alice Sweet Alice be nice with those other titles, Alone in the Dark badly needs a BD as do Eyes of a Stranger as i want to get rid of my old DVDs. I can see on Shout Select, Ninja Turtles the movie 1990 as well with Pump Up the Volume.

I'd definitely be happy with a release of Pump Up the Volume. Great movie.

Morgan Creek had a lot of titles I thought Scream Factory would've went after. Pacific Heights is one, but I thought surely they'd want Stay Tuned. That's begging for a first-time Blu-ray CE.
