It's the best performance he's ever given, a role he was born to play. I can't believe it's the same guy when I see his acting in most of his other movies. It's a shame he'll just be playing it safe from now on. I doubt The Rock of 2018 would make a movie like Pain & Gain these days. A lot has changed for him in the last few years and he seems to be happy in his groove of entertaining but wholly generic blockbusters.
